    Its not the end of the world if Luc isnt moved since we saw what Stearns was trying to get for him. It is very much the end of the world (overdramatic comment aside) if he doesnt capitalize on the reliever market though. You write that as if you know what deals Stearns passed up before accepting Clevelands.

    Reading the tea leaves it seems like Lucroy's agent is trying to save face in regards to the ridiculously team friendly contract he had his client sign. He mentioned that "if I knew how important pitch framing would become" he would have asked for more money. My guess is that now the guy wants to play hardball with whatever negotiation comes his way in order to safe professional face.

    I think people get kind of hung up on prospect rankings. Brewers scouts may very well have the Indians prospects rated higher than others. Or maybe they saw red flags on the pitchers...who knows

    David Lucroy might get Kopech at this rate. It truly is nuts. I've never seen anything like it in my time following the sport. That 2nd WC spot has completely changed the game. That's an interesting point. Has the 2nd wild card indirectly caused more parity in the league?

    When Peralta and Woodruff are hanging around the #20 mark you probably feel pretty good about your depth. Not to mention we haven't even seen Kirby yet and he's listed on there as well.

    Have been since Lucroy left Arizona with the team. I think Stearns is asking too much and everyone has moved on to cheaper options. Then he trades him during the off season.
