    I had really good seats to a game at County Stadium one time during Oliver's tenure. Like maybe 7th row behind the dugout. While he was waiting in the on-deck circle, Joe turned to someone in the crowd and said, "I'll embarrass you in front of everybody!" Everyone was looking around at each other, wondering who said something to him because no one heard a thing...and you could hear a pin drop at some home games in those days. I think Joe proceeded to strike out, thus embarrassing himself in front of everybody.

    Their Pythagorean record is 61 - 41 so yes, they are as good as their record :)

    I love that they threw their JV squad out there and still won the series finale. You could tell Roberts really wanted that game too.

    I was talking to a software vendor a few weeks back. They have two cats. They were having their bathroom redone and left the home for a while while the workers were there. When they got home, only one cat greeted them at the door, which was strange. They went looking for the other one and heard some weird scratching from behind the wall in the newly redone bathroom. The workers had accidentally drywalled the cat into the wall. Their guess is the cat went into the bathroom to poke around while the workers were at lunch and then hid in the wall and didn't move when they returned to put up the walls.

    Brewers were 25 - 28 on May 24th. They've gone 34 - 12 since then. #math

    I don't know what I'm gonna do from 15 - 20. Gonna leave a lot of guys off the list that would have easily been there in past years.

    The issue's core is that Brandon Woodruff said he had other/better offers, and you are choosing not to believe him. That isn't a counterargument.
