  1. I'm waiting for him to hit something other than a single to the 2nd baseman (tbf, it was hit very hard)
  2. Also, 99% of them are made in China. USA! USA! Joking aside, I don't have any issues with civic fireworks displays. It's the dudes setting them off all summer from their driveways that tick me off. Your loud fire boom doesn't make you any manlier, dude.
  3. They are all hitting worse than last year. They have one guy (Busch) with an OPS north of 800. Morel, Bellinger, Hoerner, and Swanson have all hit significantly worse. Throw in Pete Crow Armstrong and his sub 600 OPS and you have the makings of an awful offense.
  4. Hey guys let's tone down the "you know nothing/arrogant/ignorant" talk. Thanks.
  5. https://extras.denverpost.com/nine-innings/index.html
  6. in case anyone was wondering (like me) what the deal was with the couple behind home plate...they are a married couple that is visually impaired. They listen to the games on radio
  7. pretty weak to toss a guy for that
  8. seems to be universally liked by the Bucks guys I follow
  9. From May 21st - Aug 26th, 1988, Chris Bosio started 13 games and was brought in as a reliever for 3. He had a record of 0 - 11 and the Brewers went 1 - 15. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=bosioch01&t=p&year=1988#66-81-sum:pitching_gamelogs That has nothing to do with anything, but I remembered him having a long stretch of sadness so I looked it up.
  10. Crazy story. The more details I read the more obvious it becomes she was not any kind of professional. They tracked her location from social media posts.
  11. Obviously ERA isn't the best comparison stat to use but the point is the Brewers have a history of finding guys that haven't been great and making them useful.
  12. Yeah to me it's a trade with decent upside and not a ton of downside. I like it.
  13. yeah not like they're sending Hoskins. perfect throw
  14. pretty broad answer. what traits does "an effective pitcher" have?
  15. I was thinking about this during yesterday's game - what would be the optimal defensive team built for Coors Field? You'd need fast outfielders to cover all the ground and...pitchers that K a lot of guys? Could you get away with ground ball specialists? I don't know that they've ever cracked that nut.
  16. Milverine coming in to pitch for Colorado
