I'm considering rolling over an old SEP IRA to a Roth. It's a sizable chunk of change so I'd be doing it over a period of years. Is there any advantage to waiting for a market drop? My general feeling on investing is that it's really hard to time things so it's best to just make the move and live with it.
Yes he keeps getting minor league deals because it's low risk with potentially high reward. Like signing a left handed bullpen guy that throws 100mph but his K: BB is like 1:1. You hope they figure it out at some point. But there's also a point where the guy gets ample opportunity and can't figure it out.
He got a minor league deal in the offseason and then Detroit released him. I'm sure all the MLB teams have access to his AAA stats and tape to determine whether or not he can hit in the bigs. Hopefully he turns it around but based on lack of interest, MLB teams are skeptical.
