  1. That tracks. I saw one rolling around Milwaukee last week. They are u-g-l-y.
  2. first pitch was a ball for sure strike three was too close to take.
  3. technically TV mystery drama vs horror movie
  4. I feel like we are going round and round and further off topic. Locking until some more Keuchel news comes up.
  5. Someone asked the last time they won a series against the Phillies. I answered.
  6. You've made your point.
  7. They took 2/3 against the Phillies in July of last year. They took 2/3 against the Phillies in Sept of last year.
  8. or throw the ball away...even better
  9. let's move on from his personal life and focus on the baseball stuff. Thanks.
  10. bonus points for Haiku
  11. we need another "this guys stinks" thread. It's worked for Bauers and Hoskins
  12. 1) When a mod asks you to move on, just drop it and move on. 2) If you report a post, do not reply to said post or continue responding to the person you reported. Move on, please.
  13. I dislike the Twins because of the Minnesota thing and then I usually end up hating whatever big-market teams are successful.
  14. The underlying metrics back it up. If anything, he's been unlucky. Whatever the prospect haul is for him, one or two of them will sting. Tigers are 6.5 out of the wild card. They could have a good 7 - 10 day stretch and decide to stand pat.
  15. I'd look into Metra. I'm guessing it'd be about a 45 min train ride but the traffic to/from Deerfield could be maddening so that might be a wash. You can buy your ticket on the same Ventra app you use with the bus system. I think it's like $7 per person for unlimited rides on the weekends. Save the $20+ on parking and use it to buy a couple of cocktails since you aren't driving :)
  16. If you want to just park sort of near Navy Pier and leave your car for the day, the 146 bus runs from the museum campus up and down Michigan Ave. It will probably be filled with tourists on a summer weekend. Michigan Ave to Navy Pier is about 3/4 of a mile (or you can transfer to the 29 which takes you right to Navy Pier but if the weather is nice it's not worth it, IMO). https://www.transitchicago.com/bus/146/ You can pay with the Ventra app
  17. I don't think the garages will be that pricey on a weekend but I'd check out Spot Hero. You can reserve a spot and it's usually a lot cheaper. I use it when I drive down for work and it's saved me money. \
