  1. Houston just tied up the game vs Cubs.
  2. Did you see it this week? They have Tampa 10th.
  3. Why do I get the feeling the Crew will need at least 10 runs today?
  4. flu = code for hungover
  5. One more and I'm done... http://www.ultimate1.co.uk/images/Production%20toolbox%204%20-%20Whooshes_%20Zaps%20&%20Sweeps%20-%20full%20size.gif
  6. http://www.netbrain.com/~brain/book/minesweeper.jpg
  7. That wasn't an intentional walk was it?? Let's go, Lyle.
  8. Anybody think Ginter may play better when he has to fight for a spot? When he gets a starting job it seems like he presses too much, but if he's coming in off the bench or spot starting he does much better. Is it a coincidence he's heating up now that Helms is close to returning? Maybe, but it's interesting to discuss anyway.
  9. Hey, what happened to Angel Salome???? I can't find his ame in any box score.
  10. Any guesses as to who the DH will be tonight? I'll say Hall, although Ned may start Clark in right and DH Grieve.
  11. I agree on that one. I have no complaints about Ginter. That day or two off helped him out. When you slump, those dribblers never find a hole but when you're in a groove they do. I think he's breaking out of it.
  12. You say that as if the other guys on the team would have actually gotten hits to get the guys in.
  13. That is just awful. Ned needs to stop playing buntball.
  14. OK, two on no out. Can we get a friggin' hit or something here? Has Sheets been a good bunter before today?
  15. I hope this Cook dude doesn't settle down. Sounds like he's getting ripped and getting lucky. EDIT: If you were to read that out of context you'd think this guy was single, drunk, and scoring with the ladies on a regular basis.
  16. In that situation, a single would have been just as good as a home run.....but you already knew that.
  17. Clancy, I agree...to a point. I think Moeller will have a big second half but I think we need to bring up Hart to play right and trade Clark (not sure what we'd get for him though).
  18. Ginter is heating up.....runner is scoring position for him.
  19. This Grieve benching isn't so surprising given the lefty starter....nice to see Hall get a start at short.
  20. Ah, yes. I found that after I posted. Thanks. I forgot about Yo.
  21. Awesome. Can't wait to see what he does in rookie ball. How many top ten picks have we signed now? I know 1-4 for sure....
  22. As an aside, I smashed a Scotty Po bobblehead in TGI Fridays when he popped up last Saturday. The girl I grabbed it from was not amused.
  23. I guess we've gotten to the point where there's not enough to complain about with the Brewers so we are left to complain about how people complain about them. Relax.
