Not watchng much of the game......was the Krynzal HBP an intentional reprisal for the Pods dinger the previous at bat?.......

Post #100? You got to get going if you want to catch MassBrew's 10,000+.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

i know another poster fleetingly mentioned the distant possibility of bring Fuson in here, but could this just be an indication of such an unlikely, but supercool event?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

Batman, any chance we could make those charts a daily thing? That was very telling.

Wow, Zambrano is certifiable....Edmonds hit the dinger, flipped his bat a little, and Zambrano screamed at him the entire way around the bases.....i mean he is just NUTS...imagine Rob Dibble on metamphetamine and deciding between joining the Latin Kings and the Gangster Disciples, and you have Zambrano.

"like I said, it's food for thought" I haven't seen food this interesting since mom put those brussel sprouts on my plate when I was 5.

As part of my community service program, each paroled car stereo thief gets a free parking pass from me for any Cub Brewer game at the keg this year.....The FIB plate recognition training program should take a brief period of time....

Viz just gave up a dinger pitch to Lee....luckily he did not do anything with it, and then k's on next pitch

....that turn into runs......

Mark Rogers, at the game, just stated, "I hope I can have as good a career as Matt Kinney".... Ouch, my stomach hurts.

cmon in to the chat, the kvetching's warm.

Terriffic compilation Colby.....You give us draft laymen the Cliffs notes....I am suprised Macri slipped to the 5th based upon previous conversations....

First of all, calling someone childish on the same day Toby calls the two guys we got in the Expo trade "dinks" strikes me as misplaced aggression. Secondly, I do not see how anyone could read Moneyball, and not come up with the description of Beane that Brett was referring to.

3 random thoughts..... 1. Cecil Cooper stated that good pitching and defense were a good remedy for a win....ugh Coop, i think you meant recipe.... 2. Anyone else think it is cool that the Inland Empire RF is in the boxscore as T. Bohn Talk about a great built in nickname 3. David Bradley has had some dominating 6 inning performances....i think he is a Saenz like name to watch down in High Desert.

This is the new Milwaukee Brewers my friend.....we live in a world where 2 Brewer all-star representatives is a legitimate possibility.....be afraid, be very afraid

I think Machmeister needs to go away again.........

Matt Erickson 4-5 with a walk a and a SB......the total shellacking was done initially vs. starter Dan Wright, who was in the majors until last week...... Again, I have to ask....Where are all the Indy backers....this team has to be a joy to regularly follow in Indy.

What a great outing by Saenz!!!!!!!! one hit, no walks over 6 innings with 8 k's........awesome

(Unneeded rip removed)

A previous post mentioned that it was fairly unlikely for a 5th round pick to get to the majors.... Any idea on a percentage breakdown for players drafted in various rounds - in terms of making the majors....I realize this a bit of micro-trivia, but I figured if anone would know....... my guess would be 65% of 1st rounders, 25 % of 2nd rounders, and 15 % of 3rd rounders....

I read that Michalak has changed his arm motion in the last year, and comes from the same arm slot as Mike Myers......interesting.

In the words of the great Chris Walken,,,,,,,,, Wowie Wow Wow. A very nice article.

Mark Johnson is an excellent pickup. I was living in Chicago when he was with the White Sox, and saw him on occasion when I ventured to the South side. He is a very good backstop, solid skills all around though his hitting certainly is mediocre - very reminiscent of Matheny to be honest. Whether that is good enough, I will let you decide, but I think he has a chance to be the opening day catcher.

Reds outfield shot and dragged to death -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Associated Press MESA, Ariz. -- Cincinnati Reds outfielder Dernell Stenson was shot then dragged to his death behind a pick-up truck early Wednesday morning, Chandler police confirmed to the East Valley Tribune. Stenson, who played in 37 games for the Reds this season, was in Arizona where he played with the Scottsdale Scorpions in the Arizona Fall League. His body was found in the street near Dobson Road and Chandler Blvd., said Chandler police Sgt. Mark Franzen. Arizona Fall League officials canceled Wednesday and Thursday's games in the wake of the incident. "This is really awful," said Davona Vojovich, a friend of Stenson's who was outside Scottsdale Stadium when she was told of the incident, "I can't believe this happened." Residents told police they saw the man thrown off a black sport utility vehicle about 1:45 a.m. It appeared he had been shot and run over by the vehicle. Residents were able to provide police with a description of the vehicle. A short time later, police located an SUV matching that description in Mesa. Chandler Detective Emma Bribiescas said police impounded the SUV and are interviewing the driver, but she would not say whether he was a suspect. Stenson, of LaGrange Ga., hit .247 with three home runs and 13 RBIss in 37 games with Reds this season. He was a third-round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox in 1996 and played briefly with Boston during the 2002 season. He was claimed off waivers by Cincinnati on March 1.

Kind of interesting that Tekulve is the Director for the Pennsylvania team that Bradley plays for.....the former Pirate great packs weight when he says that Bradley is a great pitcher
