  1. Tony Clark's stats this year confuse me. It's Tony Clark!
  2. Uh oh, Yost is going to inspire Sheets to stay in too long and pad his W-L record.
  3. Speaking of 3rd Basemen, why isn't our .900 OPS elite hitter playing?
  4. There was another 1-2-3 inning in there, but that was almost as (un)memorable.
  5. Sheets is starting to get hard...I'm not sure whats going on, but I think you have to pinch hit if he comes up this inning.
  6. there goes my satellite reception
  7. Lineups: Milwaukee Clark Weeks Overbay Lee Jenkins Hall Helms Miller Santos Cincinatti Freel Lopez Casey Griffey Aurilia Dunn Kearns Valentin Claussen
  8. Good point, but I suppose it depends on the tendencies of the hitter.. Like Brian said, it would have made more sense if it was anyone but Weeks coming up. Oh well, we won!
  9. I wouldn't have had Clark bunt, but we should have scored a run anyway - Weeks only needed to put the ball in play. edit: GO MULLET!
  10. Brady Clark should be trash talking at Pujols. "Haha, I have more hits than you!"
  11. Maybe he'll actually use them. I'm fine with the guys we have, but Yost needs to stop trying to rely on only Botallico/Santana/Wise. The bullpen as a whole performed much better earlier in the season, when Obermueller, JDLR and Phelps were getting regular work, and the other guys were getting regular rest.
  12. Santana coming in...its too bad we only have 3 relief pitchers http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  13. I just noticed that, except Moeller, everyone in this lineup has an OPS over .800. Swap in Miller, and that's borderline-respectable!
  14. what IP BB K ERA WHIP Ohka 752.2 201 425 3.89 1.38 Drese 528.1 194 282 5.21 1.55
  15. I had always heard more about Eveland's fastball, but a couple of those curveballs looked pretty nasty. That was an exciting inning, for sure.
  16. Botallico has value, just stop using him EVERY GAME. It makes no sense, especially when we have guys like Obermueller and de la Rosa pitching only once a month.
  17. FWIW, Jenkins' OPS now stands at .800. Can we just bench him for the first half every year?
  18. wheres steve bartman when you need him
  19. Oh nice. Probably a good thing we ended up with Weeks instead of Kenny Rogers Jr.
  20. Is this a reverse-defensive replacement?
  21. Come on, you know better than to bring facts into the discussion.
  22. ok geoff, DONT run on Andruw Jones this time
  23. Those numbers look a lot like Corey Hart's...hope Clancy isn't reading this.
  24. I think it was just Yost's "day game after a night game" thing.
  25. Maybe Branyan is on his way to Milwaukee. Also, (Brad) Nelson just hit a dinger.
