  1. I need a baseball vid. What's the best one available on PS2?
  2. Obviously this is just a quick thing I threw together, but I like the idea. If it is well liked, I'll take some time and make it look better. "Loaded Up" could go on the front and the rest on the back. And yes, I got the idea after playing Call of Duty 4. http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh204/danslama/Untitled-2-1.jpg
  3. Yeah I had a cord go bad on me too, even though my iPod was barely used. The cords from what I've seen are pretty cheaply made, probably so they can keep selling them. You can buy them cheap on eBay however.
  4. I have extra white 5" bobbles of Molitor, Gantner, Kuenn, Sutton, and Oglivie. Looking for: any minis except Yost and Weeks, 07 Capuano, 06 Turnbow, 04 Thomas, 03 Molitor, both of the 06 Younts, all of the sausages. Willing to throw in some cash to even up a deal. Thanks!
  5. I still need the Cappy. I have the following: Kuenn mini Gantner mini Oglivie mini Molitor mini Sutton mini
  6. But do you think Lidge would be a better fit here? Brewers fans seem to have pretty much destroyed Derrick Turnbow's confidence, and have been mentioned multiple times as being too hard on their own players (and I agree with this).
  7. Didn't Guitar Hero 3 just come out? That's exactly what I thought. It sounds like quite a coincidence for it to happen at this time.
  8. Asked what might make him go outside of the organization, Melvin said, "It would be someone that offers experience with the overall talent level in the National League. Someone that might have a presence in dealing with veteran players. "We didn't have a problem with our younger players but we may have a need for someone to talk to veteran players. That way, (manager) Ned (Yost) doesn't always have to do it." If he's serious about this then it isn't going to be Kremblas. He has no big-league experience so he certainly isn't the guy. Money maybe, but I'd bet on someone new with recent big-league experience.
  9. Looking for: '82 Cooper Mini Yost from '05 Can trade: '82 Oglivie '82 Sutton '82 Simmons '82 Kuenn '82 Gantner '82 Molitor PM me please. Thanks!
  10. Just got email telling me I didn't get picked either. I used three different names and three different emails and none were drawn. Guess I'll be scalping if they make it in.
  11. People want to explain every single loss as if it is somehow Yost's fault. It's gotten to the point of being completely ridiculous in my opinion, which is just that, my opinion. Instead of enjoying the playoff chase, so many are spending all their time about our manager's "insufficiencies", sounds like fun to me. I agree, it's getting pretty lame. Even the local sports talk show here is the same, even though they have no idea what they're talking about. The team has MANY chances to win or lose on any given night, picking out one decision made by the manager is total nitpicking and is using the benefit of hindsight. If Cordero comes in and gives up a run in the eighth you guy would criticize him for not using Wise. I think he did what pretty much any MLB manager would have done considering our limited bullpen options.
  12. He's fine, but I liked Sutton quite a bit better. Sutton just seemed to have more passion and genuine interest in the Brewers and showed real excitement at times, and I liked that.
  13. I think Sheets is actually having a pretty solid year, when he's been in there. I am concerned about the fact that his pitching style has changed so much. He used to be a strikeout guy who issuedd VERY few walks; now his K/BB ratio is still good but nowhere near where is used to be. I certainly would love to see him back after his contract is up, but I would not give him a significant raise. I say keep him right where he's at as far as salary - he should be willing to do that considering how many starts he's missed due to injury, not to mention he can stay with a team that has the potential to do some serious damage in the next few years. My guess though is that he has a huge year next year in his contract year, and we let him go after next season since his price will be too high to risk on a guy that seems to get hurt a lot.
  14. Why are the Moore bobbles more expensive anyway?
  15. I believe Don Money was up at the end of the season a couple years ago as well. And BTW, I fully agree with Backupcatchers on this one.
  16. Thanks again Pedro! Awesome seats! Almost caught a foul ball from Prince too.
  17. Amen brother. Someone had to say it, I was certainly thinking it. This site is great, but it certainly can't claim to be a "diehards" site anymore.
  18. I love that photo with the saugages! I made a wallpaper out of it if anyone wants it. It's widescreen. www.dsfastball.com/prince_wall.jpg
  19. Although I am not convinced that Yost needs to go, I am interested what that quote reported my Bill Michaels is all about. IF Yost is out, I would RULE OUT the following: Kremblas, Yount, Don Money. It is my opinion that new blood is needed. Someone that doesn't know these players too well so that they can come in here and expect these players to fight to keep their jobs. I think this would improve morale, and and lead to a more fiery team. I do like Girardi. Someone told me a while back that Tom Kelly is thinking about managing again....he'd be my number one choice no question. Leyva hasn't been here too long, maybe he'd be a good one.
  20. There is also no Fox HD in the La Crosse area.
  21. Vizio is also a very good lesser-priced brand. I have a 50" Vizio plasma and love it. They are available at Sam's Club and I think Costco.
  22. I have two responses to this: 1. I have been told by someone who should know that the speed guns that cops use are just like the speed guns used in baseball. They are not always accurate, sometimes you will get a high or low reading and thus you can fight it if you do your research. However, if they actually time you between two points it is much harder to dispute. 2. I'm not a big fan of police in general to be honest, despite the fact that I've never been in any kind of trouble. I know several policemen, and most of them do it just for the power trip. However not all are like that I'm sure. I know a guy that got pulled over and arrested for drunk driving, was hauled to jail 25 miles away, and blew a 0.00 at the police station. This guy has not had a drink in 15 years. The cop was later successfully sued for harrassment.
  23. I think maybe I was misunderstood. Someone asked whether the broadcasts are sold. What I was saying is that by paying for cable you are indirectly paying for the game broadcast....therefore it is indeed something that is being sold so you can't redistribute it. Not that you could anyway.
  24. I don't know guys...I repair laptops of various manufacturers and the Macbooks have their fair share of problems...if I had to choose between either PC or Mac it's not a question since Apple parts and service are far more expensive once the machine is out of warranty. I like the Mac OS too and I own a Mac as well but I use it for the fun stuff only like music and creating videos. That kind of stuff Mac's are great for. However, I don't save anything important on my Mac because I simply don't trust it. In my work, I have learned that Apple has significantly more unrecoverable data situations. It's not that the hard drives they use are bad, it's software problems that prevent you from even reading the disk.
  25. Deal. Check your messages.
