  1. I have a Dave Mathews Band shirt from his gig at Fenway Park in 2006 (size 2XL, but probably runs closer to an XL). I received it as a gift and it's too small so I'll trade it for a bobble if anyone's interested. I'd take any of this year's bobbles besides the 5" Molitor or Thomas, or pretty much anything else since I don't have a lot of them. It's never been worn or washed except for me trying it on. Here's the link to it on the DMB site: stores.musictoday.com/store/product.asp?band_id=1&dept_id=9165&pf_id=DMCT198&sfid=7
  2. I've tried them all, and Nyquil is by far the best in my opinion.
  3. I think that I would agree with those that say that this is a pretty good deal for the Brewers if it is indeed true...when you don't consider that there is a potential playoff race coming up in a couple months. I don't think anyone would disagree that Bush is a roughly average ML starter that may improve but most certainly doesn't have the kind of stuff to become a top-of-the-rotation guy - certainly he's not immune to being traded. I think if this deal is indeed on the table that it would essentially hinge on whether or not Melvin believes that Parra or Balfour are ready to be productive in a major league bullpen, since they can't afford to let a young pitcher take his lumps at this time. Also whether or not they believe Gallardo is ready for increased workload yet. Clearly it would be preferred to limit his innings, but if offered a good deal maybe it's not an absolute necessity. And I don't think there is any concern that Villy would be ready to jump into the rotation full-time. One possibility to consider is that maybe they would be willing to put Gallardo in the rotation and take their chances on whether a significant jump in innings would indeed harm him long-term...maybe they'd be willing to take that chance if they believe they have a real shot at a championship this year and that Salty would help with that. And as far as playing outfield, if he's a good enough athlete (which he would seem to be, albeit from a limited exposure to seeing him play) maybe they could put him in Nashville for a few weeks for a crash course on outfield play to at least make him adequate out there. Then they bring him up if Mench is dealt or they need another bat on the bench.
  4. Yeah, like that's no big deal... We already have another player (Rickie) that we are jumping all over on this board because he isn't meeting our HUGE expectations, and now we start putting this kind of thing on Prince? So if he only reaches 40 this year and next, is he a dissapointment? Should we send him down to AAA or trade him? Come on guys, whatever happened to realistic expectations for young players? There have been plenty of players that have been hyped to have the same talent level as Prince and Rickie...many of them have been only OK players, and many of them were complete busts at the MLB level.
  5. Holy Cats! That's awesome, thanks Pedro! July 19 or Aug 2 would both work well, otherwise I'll take whatever you want to send me. I'll PM you my address right away.
  6. I too would love to be in on this...thanks!
  7. Everything works fine for me as well, but I would strongly suspect this to be a plugin issue. If this happens in IE7 as well as Firefox, you could try to run IE7 without plugins just to see what happens. Go to All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (no add-ons) to do this. If Brewerfan loads ok, then it's definetely a plugin issue. I would first try updating your JAVA plugin by going to Java.com. It's probably best to uninstall the old one first before installing the new one.
  8. I bought one of these several years ago, and it works great. Just don't let your drunken friends get ahold of it.... www.iwantoneofthose.com/b...index.html
  9. I don't think the play was flashy. It was aggressive, and that is what Bill Hall is known for. Bill Hall wins games in part because of his aggressiveness.
  10. I'm pretty sure I have one...if I can find it I'll make that trade...I'll get back to you shortly. Edit: I found it. It's the Pepsi one and it's unopened. In the process of finding it, I also found about seven other bobbles I forgot I even had, plus a Brett Favre one I don't remember even getting...lol. PMing you now.
  11. The question that has to be answered is: - Is the copy of the game which is being given away available for sale? Sure MLB offers the game downloads, but even if they didn't, it shouldn't matter. By paying for cable tv, you are indirectly paying for that game.
  12. I don't know guys, FTJ makes some good points...I agree that Josh clearly made several bad choices but for example lets say that tow truck or the stalled car was not all the way on the shoulder and was in the lane partially...I could totally see partial but significant responsibility in a case like that. Who really knows? Nobody at this point. I don't blame the father if he believes someone is partially at fault here. Sure his son made the stupid choice to drive, but that doesn't mean that someone else didn't do something that contributed to the accident as well.
  13. I'm still just hoping we can hold on and win the Central. It ain't over by a longshot. Yeah we have a nice lead right now, but I'd bet it ends up a much tighter race at the end. Remember, we are a couple key injuries away from a second-half meltdown (as pretty much any team is). Let's not start counting our chickens just yet, eh?
  14. Boot Camp does run Vista. I've been running it for awhile now on my Macbook.
  15. Personally, I don't see a thing wrong with having 7 major league quality SP's. As I have often said, it's just like 2006 has been completely forgotten...SP depth is a great thing to have. I often don't agree with Al, but he's right on here. Have we totally forgotten what happened just last year?
  16. I'll be honest with you...although several years ago my sevice was spotty, I can't remember the last time my service was out. I agree their customer service people are pretty bad, however. You'll get different information from different people.
  17. I like both as well, but the choice is clear to me: Smashing Pumpkins.
  18. Kelly Bundy - Married With Children (I think) "Utter one more syllable and I'll have you killed."
  19. I need a roomie up here in La Crosse. It's only about a three hour drive.
  20. I play men's fastpitch softball, and also played high school and amateur baseball. Although the basics of the game are the same, fastpitch and baseball are two totally different games. Fastpitch is a pitcher's game. Period. The motion of a fastpitch pitcher is less stressful to the arm (more natural motion), so pitchers can throw multiple games in a day (three or four is common, I believe the most I've seen was six). They say that a hard-throwing fastpitch pitcher would be comparable to a 110 mph fastball in baseball, when taking the shorter distance into account. I haven't done the math myself, but having faced some excellent pitchers, I believe it. If you're interested in watching some men's fastpitch, there are several leagues around the state, and tournaments every weekend. Inbox me for more info if wanted.
  21. I'll trade you two whites for a blue. PMing now...
  22. I would like a Prince bobble from the upcoming June 3rd game if anyone will have an extra. The only thing I have to trade is one pinstripe Molitor from Friday. Otherwise will pay cash.
  23. Also interested in the Musial ball...sending PM now.
  24. I think the chances of Melvin bringing back Branyan are somewhere between slim and none. And I like it that way.
