    Now that Richardson is back, does that make Brady a super sub? Switching between 1B, 3B, OF, and DH?

    I was going to bring up the old errors don't tell the whole story arguement again. I put more stock in firsthand accounts like huntsvillefan, than in error totals. Enrique looked pretty good in the field in Milwaukee, he was just lost at the plate. I have a hard time believing that Weeks is a better defender than him, dispite the error totals. Not that it really matters, because Weeks and Hardy pretty much have the middle infield spots nailed down.

    It's rather interesting to see that after very different starts, Fielder, Krynzel, and Nelson have nearly identical stats.     He stunk up AA last year and he's stinking up AAA this year? Who would have guessed it.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif The Brewer's organization finished 69 games under .500 last year. They're already 19 games under this year, and we're not even a month into the season.

    Stars down 2-0 in the first. Stars tie it 2-2 in the bottom of the first. RBI double by Gemoll. He scores a couple batters later on an errant pickoff throw of Nelson Cruz. Stars down 5-2 in the 3rd. 3 unearned runs on errors by Enrique Cruz and Crabbe and a balk by Parra Tied 5-5 in after 3. Replay of the first inning with Gemoll doubling in Gwynn. Zuniga drives in Gemoll with an inside-the-park home run (outfielder went down crashing into the wall). Gemoll and Gwynn each with 2 hits and a SB. Bradley pitching in the 4th, so Parra done after 3 innings. Good old fashioned slugfest in Huntsville. Crabbe scores on a Bibbs RBI triple. Bibbs scores on the throwing error. Gwynn and Gemoll with their 3rd hits of the day. Cruz drives them both in with a double off the wall. Zuniga with another RBI. 10-5 Huntsville. Missed the play, but Gemoll leaves the game after a bad collision. So Vandenberg comes in to play defense for the first time this year. Ford with another shaky outing. Seems like he gave up a bunch of hits. Damage limited to 1 in the 7th and 1 in the 8th. 10-7 Stars, heading to the 9th. Stars win their 5th straight.

    I know it will take JJ some time to adjust, but with him batting 8th, he's ended an inning 4 times now, leaving a pitcher to leadoff an inning.

    Remember, Jenkins contract has performance incentives. I would imagine, some of them kicked in because he played a full season last year. That could explain the $1 million difference.

    Since this is the last split-squad game, I would think there may be some roster cuts tomorrow. Also, probably the last chance to see some of the youngsters in big league games.

    The non-roster pitchers sure aren't helping themselves in spring so far. With the roster numbers, I just don't see any way they make the roster. (Unless they really want that "Burba-type" in the bullpen)

    No mention of Richardson, so that would seem to put him at Brevard County. Does that put Brady at first? I thought they drafted him as an OF, but he's been playing first.
