  1. doubt it, unless the dbacks start lighting Yo up. Even with a high pitch count now, Yo should be able to get through 6. Coming off an off day the pen can take it from there. Only way I see Greinke pitching is if Yo doesn't make it through the fifth.
  2. same here. well, i've got some dogs and a very well stocked beer fridge with me. and a bottle of beam if things turn south. don't plan on needing that though.Hopefully you have some champagne, too. no champagne, but I can definitely enjoy the whiskey on a little bit of ice instead of drinking it straight from the bottle.

  4. 22 isn't the end of the world. Can't have too many innings like that obviously...but if they get 6 really good innings out of Yo they'll be in great shape. Hope he goes 7 or 8...but if he can get it to the pen in the 7th with a lead I'm feeling good.

  8. maybe the world is mad at me for using "we" to describe the brewers, as my TV feed just cut out. Anyone else have a problem?

  10. I've really felt like McGehee was going to come up big in some spot in the playoffs (still do). Unfortunately the way this game has gone, a DP just seems too obvious. prove me wrong sir.
  11. Well, someone was warmed up. He put the guys on base, but got squeezed against young and then gave up two ground balls. Men at 2nd and 3rd with the way he was pitching was trouble. He has looked awful since first pitch and that RRR was leaving him in there when we were only down by 2 is incredulous. He was waiting for him to "find it" He definitely didn't take him out when he got in trouble again. Not disagreeing with you here. I would have pulled him when they sent Cowgill up. He got in trouble but threw some good pitches to get to the pitcher's spot. Once that pitcher wasn't there he should have been pulled.
  12. That inning stunk, but on the bright side Micah Owings isn't very good either. Glass half full (or quarter full....maybe eighth full. but still something full, right?)
  13. and he also said if he starts to get into trouble again they'll have to get someone warmed up. Pretty much the two options here. O rly?Well, someone was warmed up. He put the guys on base, but got squeezed against young and then gave up two ground balls.
  14. I kind of overlooked this because the pitcher was on deck.....but on parra's groundball to prince, could they have turned two? They didn't really show it again so it's hard to remember. But at the time it seemed like the thinking was "ok, pitcher on deck, get the sure out". Not so much anymore.
  15. honestly I think he would. If Wolf finds his way out of this and his spot comes up in the order with men on base, I think we'll see a pinch hitter.
  16. have you seen what happens when he puts it over the plate....? That ball 3 just now to Young was a very good pitch, just didnt get the call. Same with ball 4. ugh.

  18. I think you let Wolf start the third and be ready with a quick hook. Try to get him through until his next time up in the order.
