    That sucked.

I think that would be a reason why they shouldn't pinch hit for him.
  4. brettac1
    Kemp. Dang.
  5. brettac1
I didn't know if that bunt would have the distance.
  6. brettac1
    Gamel is awesome.
  7. brettac1
Dee Gordon is just a horrific hitter.
  8. brettac1
    Matt Kemp is amazing.

Put me in the "I don't like Roenicke, but I would MUCH rather have him than Valentine" camp.

    #askjerry What is your IQ?

From the caption under the picture: "To avoid nasty emails from diehard Ron Gant fans (they’re an edgy bunch), allow to state that we do realize that the jersey above is actually paying homage to former Cardinals OF and not a Pujols jersey modification."

I'm going to go catch the June weekend series when Beloit is in town, I think. I HAVE to see Miguel Sano.

Nyjer Morgan would be a good fit in the gaping CF hole in Boston. I definitely don't see Boston going out and over-paying for a guy just for the hell of it. They are a smart organization, and they'll get smarter once they can figure out a way to force Valentine out of there after this season.

It was Fernando Rodney, so it likely wasn't off.

I think it's about the same as usual. It has been super-frustrating with some of my fantasy teams, too, though. Extremely.

I don't think it is possible to play baseball better than Matt Kemp is right now. He is just playing incredible.
  17. brettac1
I doubt they will shake things up much, if at all.

Aceves was quite dominant again today, as well.

    The start of spring training.

    The day he was born.

I was going to go with Erick Almonte, myself.
  22. brettac1
    It definitely wasn't.

I have been watching their home games and it's clear that it's a lot of fans that don't really follow baseball. I don't like Heath Bell at all, but booing him in like his third game? Seriously? I can see them easily having a hard time drawing by the end of the season, since I don't think they are really that good of a team - especially if Giancarlo and LoMo are going to be hurt all year and only playing 60% of the games.

I think it was a good call. I pretty much expected Kottaras to draw a walk or K. Then Kimbrel started throwing strikes and that was the ball game.

Oh, how I missed the wit and wisdom of John Rocker.
