  1. I tend to agree with you with one exception... This team has GREAT chemistry to it right nowand is winning... They have to be careful to not rock the boat too much! Getting Weeks back is a given (which will move McGehee and Yuni down the order) but don't expect much more than that... So you platoon Green and McGehee. It's far from an ideal platoon because McGehee has stunk up the joint against lefties, but the important thing is that Green would eat into half his AB's. That should keep McGehee and his teammates happy enough. If they're not, they're not very realistic or accountable. Roenicke/Melvin have given McGehee more than enough leeway. An order of: 1. Hart, 2. Morgan/Hairston, 3. Braun, 4. Fielder, 5. Weeks, 6. Green/McGehee, 7. Betancourt/Hairston, 8. Lucroy looks much more championship caliber. Chemistry is born of winning, not the other way around. It's pretty overrated in baseball. If a guy isn't getting the job done, his teammates know it and would understand if he wasn't playing.
  2. How "popular" can a player be with his teammates when he doesn't pull his weight? I'd get pretty sick of watching one of my co-workers under-perform over and over.
  3. I don't really care where they do it, as long as they do. Hopefully ASAP.
  4. I was going to say the same, though I'm not old school at all... Just that something loses it's coolness once people like your aunt start talking about T Plush.
  5. Yeah, the first thing I noticed was the horrible Just For Men job.
  6. Purposely making outs in front of our two .950 guys may hurt the Brewers more than having an uneven lineup. This. Roenicke should leave his hands in his pockets when the Brewers are hitting.
  7. Totally. And I think the bad blood with the organization was with Attanasio, which is why I can't see this actually happening.
  8. At least he's finally playing every day. Hopefully in the playoffs he can be the SS every game.
  9. Can't McCarver just use autotune all the time like in that commerical? That would be far more entertaining.
  10. I still can't believe people tried to compare him to Jeff Suppan.
  11. I don't think Kevin Nash wrestling anyone is a good idea at this point in time. I always loved him on the mike, and think he's funny, but he's certainly not going to look good in the ring. The main thing I struggle to get with this is the love for Del Rio. The character sucks, he's not a good worker, etc. Isn't it the same exact character as Bradshaw did, just from a little further south? This was the only thing he's ever done that I liked: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Biz3sfhqWY
  12. Really, though, can he just not be on my TV anymore?
  13. I just watched Summerslam... wow, what a terrible botch. What's the point? Why not just leave the belt on Punk? I loved the screwing of Cena angle and they should have left it at that, it was just going to get hotter if they could do the TV shows right.
  14. What about Braddock? I hope it's not the case, of course.
  15. Yes. He knows how to hit. Pretty much a lock for a solid AB every time up.
  16. TLR is really mostly beyond reproach, though. All you have to do is look at his record. Berkman probably could use the day off, I guess.
  17. McGehee and Betancourt may be terrible, but at least they get along? Silver linings ftw.
  18. I thought there was an echo in my house when Braun popped that one into the Cards dugout. Couldn't have said it better.
