Unless it counts the 7 as starting this year(2008-2014). However i hope you are right Yoyo.
  2. berniebrewer4life
That's my hope as well. I'd really like to see sheets stay a brewer for a few more years, and add a wily old vet like Maddog.

I think it's just one, but there could be an option deal in there somewhere that we don't know about yet, making it a year longer.
  4. berniebrewer4life
Mark A wanted to do it. He has once again proven he will spend money on this team when he deems it necessary. I don't think this deal keeps us from going out and getting another impact player if needed, and it also(IMO) puts us in braun's good graces later on if we want to talk another deal 6 years from now. Also shows guys like fielder that we will make a deal, if both sides are willing to cooperate.

Fondy beat me to it. Good to see Braun getting signed up.

If the Cubs start Edmonds, i will be a very happy camper. That guy has nothing left in his tank, and honestly would be worse than PIE both on defense and offense.
  7. berniebrewer4life
Looks like i will be watching Craig Ferguson alot more. I really dislike Fallon.

This is for all the Scrubs fans out there. This is from Zach Braff's myspace page. Dear friends, Many of you have been understandably confused by the Fairy Tale episode of Scrubs serving as the series finale. It was not. I was not allowed to say it until today, but Scrubs will be moving to ABC for its final season. We are currently filming the 8th and final season. The true finale of the show will air on ABC in the fall. NBC merely promoted the Fairy Tale episode as the finale, as it was the last episode they owned. Also, several of you were very confused by the fact that Dr. Kelso and Laverne were still working at the hospital in the Fairy Tale episode. Because of the writer's strike, the last remaining episodes for NBC were aired out of order. This is why Dr. Kelso was still chief of medicine. That was not Laverne however, for those of you who have been following closely; it was a new nurse "Shirley" who no one thinks looks anything like Laverne except for JD. Hope this clears some things up. peace and love, zb

i retract my previous statements. BTW, nice avatar. EDIT: BTW, what made you want to check the website out?
  10. berniebrewer4life
Well, let's see if we can actually get a 3 game winning streak tonight! When was the last time that happened?
  11. berniebrewer4life
Nice to have a big lead again. Let's hold it.
  12. berniebrewer4life
Quick question, what is a good % for that anyways? Is 50% decent? what should be expected for a catcher?
  13. berniebrewer4life
Attaboy Big Mike. Let's see if the hammer can clear the bases.
  14. berniebrewer4life
I can't wait to see that on baseball tonight and Sportscenter tomarrow.
  15. berniebrewer4life
Probably taking notes too. "OPS? What's that?"
  16. berniebrewer4life
Same here. I'm 24 and always loved it. My roommate and i still do the wheel of morality bit sometimes.
  17. berniebrewer4life
Bingo. I'll go with the guys who actually know baseball well before some ESPN castoff. If he doesn't like BF.net, that's fine. He probably won't have a job in madison long anyways.
  18. berniebrewer4life
Come on boys. Let's win this series.
  19. berniebrewer4life
Finally. After the day i had(just got home from working since 8am, have to be back at 7 tomarrow), i needed this. Thanks rickie.

Honestly, i thought last year was a bit of a fluke. I figure he would revert to "Rally Killer"(as my girlfriend and i dubbed him) Hardy from a few years ago. Hopefully he comes back and hits around 15 hrs a year, which would be very respectable IMO, but i doubt it.
  21. berniebrewer4life
Just win baby. It's all about the W.

In past years the Blackhawks have typically been number 1 on this list. The recent death of the very short-and-narrow-sighted owner as well as an infusion of young talent probably played into them moving out of the bottom 10. One year moved em out(a year where they didnt' even make the playoffs, might i add)? No, i think this guy just doesn't really know what he is talking about. Despite the past year or so, the blackhawks are still one of the worst franchises in the past 15 years or so.

Same here Katuluu. I'm going to see it after work tonight in Janesville. I told my girlfriend 3 weeks ago i'd make it up to her. Hopefully she likes it and i don't have to go watch some Gilmore Girls Marathon or something. But if i do, it will be worth it.

My roommate is a member of an Ojibwe tribe up north, and we talk about this kind of stuff all the time. From what i understand, you opinion is the general consensus. Names like "Warriors", or FSU's use of the name Seminole isn't offensive(most tribes are proud of the usage). But using obviously racist names like Redskins and stuff like the Indian Calls are. I also think it is ridiculous for people that aren't Native American to define "what is offensive", and I think Native Americans are irked by other people telling them what they should and should not find offensive. I agree 100% FTJ. IMO, we(and by we, i mean white people/non Native Americans) have no right to say if it's offensive or not. That's just not up to us.
  25. berniebrewer4life
Trust me, i know people who root against the Redskins just because of their name. That needs to be changed so bad it's rediculous.
