Brewers sign Larry Schaefer
SoCal Brew Crew Fan replied to Invader3K's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
He's a former first baseman...maybe they send him to Nashville to keep the heat on Gamel. -
He certainly didn't strain anything classily watching that homerun.
-
I would have thought a patient hitter like Counsell would have made sense today.
-
HUGE!!!

What just happened?

http://www.fangraphs.com/...l-players-playoff-teams/ Interesting article on below replacement level players on playoff teams highlighting our boy Yuni. They even give Kotsay some "love" for being below replacement...6 years ago! Seriously, this madness needs to end. If we wind up 1-2 games out of a playoff spot, you can point to Yuni.
-
I'd just walk Fielder and McGehee and go for the Yuni triple play...the only risk is he strikes out, but then he can K Wilson and Gomez. EDIT: Add Yuni fail. I'm not sure what Yuni is qualified to do in life, but it's definitely not starting MLB shortstop.
-
I'm happy with George too and am glad he's up...but remember this next time he has a passed ball on a called strike three or when David Ortiz steals a base on his noodle arm.
-
5 pitches, 2 runs and a double...Red Sox have us right where they want us.
-
True, at least but some of those CPAs have some movement.
-
What happened to that funk on his junk or whatever... I didn't even have time to change my sig to DFA Mini-me. I can't believe they let him wear Augie's number...blasphemy!!!
-
He's scheduled to go on Wed vs. the Rays, then we've got some off days to work with. Of course if Wolf only makes it one inning tomorrow they could pitch him on short rest. Likely at least one Estrada start...then clear to July 3rd. That would be right at the end of a DL stint. Hopefully Shaun is ok by then.

Well Mr Herrera, hope you've finished up those online courses you were working on.

I remember the first game last time...sat underneath Fenway for over 2 hours drinking beers before they called the game...sold enough beer to pay for Crawford & Gonzalez. Plenty of Brewers fans...I'm betting it's the same thing tonight!
-
If it wasn't for the Brewers, Fukodome & Dempster would be doing something else for a living.

Stay hot Yuni

I am pleasantly shocked. Way to go Yuni.
-
PH Counsell please
-
Glad we don't have to deal with Cy Floppyglove-ster tonight, because if there is one thing that Floppy-glove & Mark Attanasio have in common...
-
Let's look on the bright side folks...if we keep this up, this may drop the Cubs a few slots in the draft!
-
If he keeps it up, we could have our second NL player of the month...and it's only June.
-
Worst-managed game that he didn't get away with it.
-
I'm taking the over vs. Yuni's .OPS.
