    I think with the addition of sheets back in the rotation we are looking at a nice rotation. I believe without him we do not have enough fire power to be good. I believe a guy like soup is great to have only if he's your 4 or 5 starter and that's why we have him. What do you think if mc clung was our closer? Interesting.....

    I think as Brewer fans we can't expect MA to go out and spend tons of money every year on players. This is not a year for us to do that. Be thankful that our owner took a chance last year and stepped up and spent the money needed to make a run. Now you scale back and get a few more young prosepects ready and then go at it in a year or two. Our rotation can't be fixed by adding a free agent, they are just too over priced. We have to develop our pitching from with in and then spend money when the time is right. Gallardo and Parra are prob still a year off from being what we need them to be so there is no point in spending money now. We will still be competitve but we can't expect to have a year like we had last year every year. We are a small market team and we need to build from with in, period!

    Does anyone know if you get Bucks games this year with FSN WI in the Hudson/ River Falls area with Directv? It has been blacked out in the past and have not been around to check this year.

    I don't think they owe anyone anything after the game. I'm sorry and I understand that it might have been dissapointing but you have to understand how they are feeling at that point. They are upset and prob just want to get home and be alone. Many of them have said thanks during interviews or whatever. They are obviously thankful. That's just my opinion.

    Getting a piece of 93 mile an hour fastball is easy if you know it's coming. But if you don't know if it's that or Lidge's nasty slider then good luck. You almost have to guess. Hart played well, stop getting on him.

    I too would like to thank you Brian for starting this place. I was told about it about 3 years ago. I was on the MLB boards and they just really bothered me. This is where the true fans are and can talk about baseball with intellegence. I think we go with Soup here but Yo could be a great call too. We went out and got Soup for this exact reason, playoff baseball. He's been a stud in the post season before and I think we should go with him. That being said, Yo is just pure amazing so I don't think you can really go wrong. I've been waiting my whole life for this so here we go!

    No words can describe the feelings I had during this game. I was 2 when we were in the playoffs so because I can't remember that I've been cheering for a team my whole life without them making the playoffs. This is just amazing! Thank you guys for playing your ass off this year and making all of WI so proud. There were a lot of people who dropped a lot of tears at the end of this one.

    That call brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. The hair on my neck was standing up while my heart pounded out of my chest. Amazing. I too grew up listening to him all the time. Any time we were in the car when I was a kid my dad would have the game on. To this day, anytime i'm in the car I have him on. Something about him just puts me at ease and makes any car ride go by so fast. I'm so excited for this!

    Truely a classy move! Yeah, as much as we hate on players for their preformances on the field, we should never attack them personally (unless their attitude and off field actions warrent it). It's one thing to boo a guy for a bad game but another to ever attack him as a person. Just a reminder to all of us when we are frustrated. Again, awesome stuff Gagne!

    Yep, this is why we signed him. For BIG GAMES! He has to rise up and be that man tonight. We really really need to get this game to keep the momentum and keep the pressure on NY. Get this first one and then we just need 1 of 2 (of the next 2) I believe. Man, what a night!

    adambr2 - that's exactly what i was thinking. My thought process went from, man if he hadn't gotten hurt we'd have so many more wins this year. Then I realized the same thing, wait, we wouldn't have had CC then probabaly. I'm just really happy for him, he pitched like a stud last night. Here we go people, 3 games. 3 games left. Intense.

    Flipping back and forth but this is the opener and the brewer game (sorry to say) is not as big of an event tonight. I'll be watching the crew during commercials and half time. Go Brewers, Go Packers. Even if CC was pitching I'd still have to favor the Packers.
