    We all knew coming in that this team would have big swings of ups and downs. Right now we are on a big up swing. Soon to follow will be a down swing. The one thing that may help the changes from being so violent is that they are older and more experienced than years past. I sure hope they can stop losing streaks faster than they have in recent years.

    Awesome win! I saw someone posted that Prince was doing an impression of Kendall? What was he doing? A batting impression? Love it! I also love that they ignored Gamel in the dugout after the HR! Fun group of guys to watch :-)

    Glorious win yesterday. A sweep against these guys would be awesome. I like sticking it to people when they become poor losers.

    I was really bummed about this. I just feel that when he's tried to play with this in the past it has not been good for him. When his wrist is bothering him his hard hit line drives turn to towering infield pop flys. I hope it's nothing, but this worries me a lot.

    Great win here for the Soup! I know he has his ups and downs but he's really been pitching well as of late. First place is nice!

    You can't expect them to try to bend over backwards for fans. It's about getting the game in. With them both having off days on Mon it makes sense. I'm sorry that it screws up your plans but things like this happen from time to time.

    He's not cocky, he's confident. He backs up his talk and is a good teamate. This is exactly the type of guy we need. Remember, although Prince is a leader, he's not a vocal leader. Braun gives this team a swagger. We need a guy like this!

    This guy put in to words, exactly how I've felt about Braun. He says and does all the right things but you can just tell he wants to be in the bright lights of the big stage. I don't blame him or think it's wrong but I've never totally opened up to him because of that. Hey I love him here and cheer for him like crazy but I just worry he will try to split even before his contract is up. We'll see what happens I guess. But like I said, right now it's great having him on our team and he seems like a pretty good teamate.

    Let's keep the streak going! In all seriousness, it would be nice to see our bats start out hot and get us an early lead. I think we have been fortunate to get the late innings offense we've been getting but we really could use an early lead. Hope Soup pitches well.

    It's a tough call but I agree you have to keep running. I think sometimes when something horrible happens (line drive off a pitcher) that guys won't push it. They might take 2nd but probably wouldn't try for third. If it's in the outfield guys will keep running I believe. You are right, this is the only sport that this is even a question.

    Ya, I agree that we shouldn't over react right now. That being said, I'd like to see him used in multiple innning situations more as well. I thought he really stepped up in situations when a pitcher would give up 5-6 runs in 5 innings but we were still in the game. He would take the ball and go a few innings and keep us in the game. It was never mop up duty but just long relief. That's where I like to see him used.

    I will throw lots of love Cam's way! He has been a very important piece to this team. I don't think you just look at stats with a guy like this but also how much he brings to a young team.

    Ok, lets now give Macha credit for his bullpen move. How many of you would have crushed him had it not worked out? Hairy move but probably the right one and it worked out great. Good work Machs!

    Can anyone give an update on how the MLB.tv is this year? I had issues during the free preview but the HD picture looked great. Have they worked out the kinks?

    Ok, maybe this sould be under the Hart/Hardy thread but I think this is a different topic. What should be done to try to get Hardy out of this slump? I don't think the answer is switching him with Hart. Should we sit him a few games here? Should we move him down in the order? Should we just let him swing himself out of this? I'm confident he will get his stats but it's painful to watch him right now. I hope he can turn it around sooner than later. We all know he will get on one of those hot streaks and boost his stats but in the mean time is there anything that should be done to help start that?
