    Taking the day off and myself and two other friends are starting our tailgate party at 11. Quarter barrell, pack of brats, and a bunch of snacks. Nothing like pretending you are at the game, when you are 300 miles away. Can't wait, I really hope that we get this game in today and get the W.

    It is a sad sad day in Wisconsin. This will not sink if for awhile. There is an article on the front page of ESPN. Don't really know what else to say right now.

    I really want Gagne to come through for us and have a big year. I do think that Weeks or Sheets is most important to have big years. I also have a soft spot for Turnbow, even though he makes me nervous all the time, I love to see him succeed.

    Lets look at it this way, be happy we can even have these debates! Usually, its what the heck are we going to do for our last two starters. Don't hate on Soup Can either, he may be mediocre but he's always there and gives us a chance to win quite a bit. As for Villy, I'd like to see him up right away but if he's not it's a good sign for us that we have this type of depth. We know he will be up sooner than later too, so it's not that terrible.

    Ol Stevey was just on the Dan Patrick show and twice said that the cubs will run away with the central and then said they were the only team in the central. Not even a mention of the Brewers. Kind of fired me up. (unambigufied thread title --1992)

    What happens to Cameron if after 25 games someone has become a stand out and has a hot bat in the CF position? I really could see Gwyn doing this (but this is not the debate). It could be any of our guys including maybe Hart in CF and someone doing well in right. I know you can never have too much depth but it's hard to sit down a good player playing well. Your thoughts?

    No matter what happens I don't think we will get Sheets back. If he is hurt again this year we may offer him something but there will be a team out there that will take a risk on him and over pay him. We may just let him go too if his injuries continue. If he has a good season we'll give him a good offer but like you guys said, it will be like Cordero, someone will go higher and it's not worth it for us to chase those numbers. It will just handcuff us in the future with our young talent. I'd like to see him stay but I just don't see it in the cards.

    Horay! I didn't think this day would ever come. Can't wait for that first box score to look at.

    What would you like to see for the Brewers rotation and what do you think will actually happen? I really think we need Cappy in the rotation to have that lefty arm in there. I think he has showed us a lot in previous years and can work through that funk he had last year. I like Bush a lot but I think he fits best in the pen (if CV earns his starting spot like they say he will). My biggest worry for the pen right now is having to many one inning guys and not a guy to chew up innings. I think that Bush fits in to that spot perfect. Plus if an injury happens to a starter, I see him jumping in right away to make a spot start or two. So it seems to me that Vargas is as good as gone. I can't wait to see how this works out!     Yeah I saw this the other day on their site and downloaded it. Now I got it on my computer and my phone and it makes me JACKED! Can't wait for the season to start!

    I like having him on our team because I really do think he will have a positive impact on our staff. I really don't care if he only bats 250 (which I think he will do better than that) if he makes the staff that much better. I'm excited to see him work behind the dish and deal with our pitchers.

    Baldkin - That call just brought a big smile to my face "get on your horse johnny!" Classic. Then he does a great job of letting the game and the crowd tell the rest of the story. As for HD, I thought I read that all home games will be in HD this year.

    Just wondering what you guys thought of Brian and Bill and the rest of the crew after a year. I really enjoy Brian. I think he is very profesional but yet gives just enough cheering to each broadcast. I know many of you have made comments about Bill, but I enjoy hearing his voice. The post game is another story. That can get really bad and I have a hard time watching Dave. I almost feel bad for him when he starts stumbling on his words. Do we know if this whole crew is coming back?

    So has anyone heard anything about this years video games coming out? I had 2k7 for 360 last year and enjoyed it. There are a few kinks that need to be worked out but I enjoyed it. Any news about this years games would be much appreciated because I have not heard anything.

    Does anyone know when the next episode of Brewers Classics is coming up? (I asked this in another thread as well) And Ennder, i think that would be looked at as unhealthy to outsiders, but to me it's great! Ha.

    I'm sure there are many of you out there that just can't handle the wait for this upcoming season like me. So my question is, what are you doing to get through this last month of waiting until players start reporting for spring training? I have been visiting this site every day and reading up on what you all have to say. I also enjoy going to the Brewers site and watching a few highlights of last years games. I can't wait to hear the likes of Uecker and Anderson over the radio and TV again! It's a sign that spring is here. So anyway, lets here what you have all been up to this off season to deal with your excitement.

    I really hope I'm wrong but I'm nervous about Braun. He has to deal with a new postion and the expectations of being ROY. I think it will be hard to get the numbers he had last year, but I hope I'm wrong.

    I allways driven Honda Accords and really like them. I just bought a used 04 Accord and am very happy. Good gas milleage (around 30), very relliable, great resale value! If you want a sportier looking car look at the two door coupe Accord, pretty sharp. These cars will go forever with very little maintance too. I have owned a v-6 accord and it nice to have when you need the extra juice but you will loose a little on gas mileage with it. Best of luck!

    I have not seen the most rescent one. So it's a two parter? Is that why it hasn't been put on iTunes yet? I was wondering what the delay was. Looking forward to seeing it. As for the Bono episode, I lost it when he sucked on the "biddy," Ha, that was great. "Careful, that hurts the biddy."

    I rented 2k8 for 360 the other day because I've always been an NBA Live guy (since SNES, so a long time). I just heard so much about it being a better game. Well I played and I really like it. It's smoothe! I really think it's time for me to make the jump to 2k. I think you guys will enjoy the game. The Bucks look pretty good too. I have a Wii as well and this is my assesment. The Wii is a system that is made to have casual fun with, and play a different type of game. Hardcore sport games aren't going to be fun on there and therefore developers don't really care and just throw out a watered down version to make people happy. I don't think you'll ever have a good Madden or NBA game for the Wii.
