  1. Awww... somehow I was hoping Braun's flyball would carry more.
  2. You've got to remember, also, that in the movie High Fidelity, John Cusack finds almost every loophole he can to get out of a relationship that is, indeed, a great fit for him. Maybe that applies in this situation -- I'd stick it out a bit more and get a good feel for how it's going to be over a longer period of time. At least that's my two cents. Hope it helps!
  3. CBS in HD is generally very poor, in my personal opinion. All of my other Time Warner HD channels look much more crisp.
  4. I really don't think we'd get anything that would be a true upgrade over what we have now. I guess it depends what prospect you were thinking, though.
  5. Planning on watching the national championship, relaxing, getting to sleep early, and then enjoying an early neuroscience class tomorrow.
  6. Cook outs, long days of drinking copious amounts of beer, running home from my classes to catch the first pitch, the smell of freshly cut grass, Ueck's voice, and any Brewers merchandise seen from eagle-eye's distance.
  7. 1. Tennis 2. Softball 3. Football 4. Golf 5. Volleyball 6. Bags (More of a game than a sport, but don't tell that to the vast majority of play it in West Bend, Wisconsin -- they take it VERY seriously) I'll play pretty much anything, but those are what I try to stick to in summer usually.
  8. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to give it a go! I appreciate it a lot. Also, thank you very much for the constructive criticism -- it's always appreciated so that I can mature a bit as an artist.
  9. Well, I appreciate it, RyDogg. A few of the songs have an Adams-feel to them, I suppose, but I wouldn't dare actually compare myself to him. There's a reason why he's considered one of the better American songwriters and I'm considered one of the many American college students. = P
  10. Well, I've recently put the finishing touches on a CD that I've been recording and I have now decided to release it for free online so that I can get some new listeners. If you are into general rock, alternative, acoustic music, or folk rock, this might interest you. http://www.sendspace.com/file/g4ze15 I respect the BF.net community's music taste, so I figured this was the best place to start! When you download the file, you'll notice it's a .zip with a bunch of MP3's in it. Simply open the .zip file, drag the MP3 files into your iTunes music folder, and then drag those files into your iTunes library -- their tags should already be written on to keep your iTunes nice and tidy. Thanks for your time, and hopefully a few of you will enjoy it!
  11. I did it. I hope they get 'rolled reallllll good. = )
  12. I would say the majority of Bucks fans would tell you that Bogut is the main building block for the Bucks.
  13. My brother worked at a hitting instruction school in West Bend for a while and Jim Gantner would pop in from time to time to give lessons. My brother got to know Jimmy well and whenever my brother would go to Miller Park to watch a game, Jimmy would yell out his name and throw him a ball from the field (given that he was near the dugout, which my brother usually would be since he's an autograph/meet-the-player hound).
  14. FuKudome falls to the Hammer of Tho... I mean Suppan. Good stuff.
  15. McClung's on suspension until the Astros series, I believe, so no worries there... for now.
  16. Great... Well, need Suppan to stop throwing meatballs here and keep his control in check.
  17. I'm currently in class and didn't get to see the Weeks home run. Was it a no-doubter?
  18. My heart dropped when I saw the title to this thread. Your tomfoolery almost gave me a heart attack, Jamie! = P = )
  19. Ryan Adams - "The Shadowlands" Just a chilling song -- gets me every time.
  20. That is just plain neat. Good find!
  21. This is feeling a little bit like the comedy hour. Definitely not what I wanted to see from the Brewers in a crucial situation in the ninth inning.
  22. If Felix Patterson would have just beaten us with that bomb, I would have retired to my room to cry for the rest of the night.
  23. Braunie!!! Beautiful piece of hitting there! Let's keep this beautiful thing going.
