That is a lot of money for someone his age and someone who absolutely tanked in the second half of the year.

Pretty nice haul, I'd love to get a Verlander ball. I'm a Brewers fan in STL and always think of going to the Cards Wintere warm up but it is way to expensive. Anyone of any value charges a nice price and it is $40 to even get in. Shelby Miller and Zack Cox did sign for free this year though.

Team by team analysis of Fielder free agency options
apirk replied to cvollbrecht's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
I know the article said Texas was a longshot but if Moreland doesn't pan out I could see them going after him -
Looking to sell a Reebok Hardwood Calssics Vintage Oscar Robertson Milwaukee Bucks Jersey. This is an XL and also says Length +2. This comes with its tags still on because I've never worn this. This isn't a crappy knockoff I bought it at a mall in St. Louis on a whim but I never wore it because I don't really get to see many Bucks games down here and really have no use for it. It is a great looking jersey. Looking to do $50 shipped http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u269/apirk72/work002-3.jpg

Yanks sign Rafael Soriano 3yr/35
apirk replied to jerichoholicninja's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Soriano clearly only cared about getting paid, not that i blame him, it will be interesting to see if he pitches as well as he did now that he is getting paid for three years. -
I'd say his speed is a huge reason. If he gets on base he is a huge distraction for any pitcher. He is still in his late 20's and is solid defensively. There is a lot to like and I'd feel way more comfortable giving him 6-7 years then cliff lee.

Vinyl has been very popular for a few years. I've been collecting for awhile, and up until a few years ago you might find a handful of new stuff getting released on vinyl and now pretty much everything is getting released on vinyl. Also, the labels know how popular it is so they are reissuing all the old stuff.

I think it would hurt his value more if they played him while he was hurt.

Yeah I was surprised his name came up as well, there is probably absolutely nothing behind it except fanball name dropping.
-
Hellickson's name was brought up on fanball, if that is all a possibility that is so far the best case scenario IMO.
