    I've seen enough of this guy living in STL to know I do not want him on the Brewers. He had a pretty good year a year or so ago but looked just awful last year.

    Looking for an Escobar 8x10 to give someone to get signed at ST. Checked ebay and saw alot of signed ones but nothing to great when it came to unsigned ones. Any help is appreciated.

    I didn't mean that I thought Mattingly should be elected because I don't think he should be but I don't think Puckett should have been either.

    Puckett won 2 championships.Sorry but in baseball that shouldn't help you get in the HOF. There are a lot of players that won multiple championships. Jack Morris was on 4 winning teams and won a WS MVP.

    Injuries forced Mattingly out of the game as well but that doesn't seem to work for him, IMO he was better then Puckett. I'd probably only vote for Alomar

    Adam Kennedy had a solid year last year but he'll probably hold out for a starting gig. I wouldn't touch Khalil Greene with a ten foot poll.

    Hard to argue with whichever of those guys won the award.

    I figured it really could go to multiple players. There wasn't really a standout rookie in either league. Hanson and McCutchens will be great players but probably didn't come up soon enough.

    If you want a good SP you are going to have to give up good players. Sure the Braves my be looking to move Lowe or Vasquez but they aren't going to give them away. Both are high quality SP and will take either a solid players or very good prospects.

    It would take a lot more then an OF who should be platooned to get any solid SP in this league. HArt doesn't even come close in value of a #2 or #3 SP let alone someone who statistically was a top pitcher last year. You are COMPLETELY overvaluing Hart but that usually happens with all Brewers here which is why people get pissed when the Brewers don't get what fans feel someone's value is because it is nowhere near what the actual value is.

    Really? A 2.87 ERa, 1.03 whip 238 Ks and BAA of .223 isn't good? Corey Hart may have less trade value then Hardy

    Hart plus to the Braves for Vazquez could be possible other than that not much out there really in the trade market.C'mon give me a break If people think the Braves will trade one of the best pitchers in the league for a mediocre outfielder, then I can see why people thought the brewers could get more for HArdy. Unless the plus is Escobar or Lawrie. Hardy wouldn't change positions and was terrible last year, this was probably the best the Brewers could get.
