  1. With fanfest and all that comes with the All Star game coming here I was wondering where the best place is to buy OMLB. Thanks
  2. I'd do a mini helmet and 8x10
  3. No people have clearly missed that. The actual team hasn't said anything it is pretty much just Rick Horton and writers. I'd say the majority of fans don't care either, just ones who like arguing on the internet. I am not going to lie being around Cardinal fans all the time I will say most are great baseball fans.
  4. I think older players especially when they sign and are way up in age would be extremely difficult to authenticate. I got a Stan Musial last year in person and I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't pass because his hands were shakey to the point he couldn't do inscriptions.
  5. Penny is terrible, why bother even bother trying to add a #5.
  6. well since I started this I've never heard a Cardinals fan complain about this, I just hear Rick Horton continuesly complain about it. He also brings up Brandon Phillips because two years ago he admired one of his HRs a little too long. For the most part I think Cardinal fans are great. I go to a lot of Brewers games here and am decked out in jersey and all and have never really had any problems, minus a few guys who had too much liquid courage. Teams do all kind of things to celebrate but I am sure horton would complain no matter what because he is pretty much terrible at his job. For being such a great baseball town I never understood why the sports media down here is so terrible.
  7. Rick horton just said the most disrespectful thing he has ever seen is when the Brewers pull out their jerseys after a win. He says this at least once a week and I really wish I could use stronger words to describe him because he is terrible. I really don't see how it is disrespectful at all.
  8. I got one from him and it was just in the Styrofoam as well.
  9. I've seen tons of ant-Cubs shirts sold at stores here in St. Louis. About half are Cubs vs Cards but there are some universal hate ones as well such as the Choke Cubs logo. The only problem I have with the one MLB is selling is that it looks terrible and is not clever.
  10. Would love to get Hoffman did you just send it to Miller Park?
  11. If I wanted to get someone on a ball is it best to just send it to the stadium? Anyone know any players that have a high success rate with signing baseballs, it is all I really collect. Thanks
  12. I'll have an extra kendall for sure. I'll b up there for a wedding and have tickets. If interested we would have to trade through the mail since I live in St. louis and won't be in SE WI long after the game.
  13. I find it hard to believe that anyone who has been a fan of the Brewers for a long time is all of a sudden down on this team now. How did you make it through the mid 90's and early 00? It is early, they are facing some great SP and well they aren't playing that well.
  14. If the Sox want an upgrade a 2B they would just bring up Beckham
  15. Would love a 2008 Year In Review DVDs , thanks Great offer
  16. nope, it looks like he might become a fan favorite for some reason though.
  17. Please no Duffy is a backup and that is pretty much it.
  18. would like to see the Kershaw
  19. I live in St. Louis so if you hae in a particular questions let me know. I've sat pretty much everywhere in the stadium and yes ticket prices are rediculous. I go to the majority of Brewers games and am either wearing my Yount or Braun jersey. People have always been incredibly friendly and have fun with it, and there are always a good number of Brewer fans at the games as of lately. If you want to stay downtown just priceline it. When people have come to visit they've been able to stay in super nice hotels for pretty low prices. If you can you can get to Busch at 9 AM the day of the game and there is a promo where the first 50(?) people get tickets for $5.50. Not sure the exact rules but if you get the voucher you go to the game 30 minutes before first pitch and they give you an envelope with tickets. The one time we did it we got a pair of nice box tickets. Oh as far as bleachers go they are probably my least favorite seats there, and I like the Bleachers usually. They are nowhere near as nice as Milwaukee plus they are not covered at all and being in the sun during June in St. Louis is not fun at all.
  20. There is no way they'd trade either of those guys for anything less then an elite player especially Beckham.
  21. If it isn't too late I'd love to go for the Moncrief
  22. I think it is too early to worry about this. Like someone said earlier too much talent is never a problem. I think around July/August we'll see how Escobar is playing and we'll see if Hardy is putting up th esame numbers he has in the past two years. Hell if HArdy slumps down the stretch I am sure everyone will be calling for his head like they have Hart. I think people are making too much out of Boras being Escobar's agent. Despite agents both Hardy and Escobar(if he pans out) will probably demand a a nice chunk of change so both could be gone. If Escobar is ready next year and they lose Hardy they have plenty of time to have a replacement if they don't think Escobar will stay. I'd love to see Hardy stay but I just don't think it is going to happen. I think he'd still test the market whether they had Escobar or not.
