Based on what? Yes they are all cheaper but not one of them can do what ellsbury can do on the base paths. Cain will never come close to those numbers if he can even become an everyday player and we've seen what Gamel can do. I like Gindl and Lawrie but lets see how they do at AA first. -

Right now I wouldn't even touch Bumgarner because there is something wrong with him, I'd like that White Sox package. AS far as what the Brewers have in their system for OF, none of those guys will make an impact like Ellsbury could. -

Westmoreland just had brain surgery I'd love to see the Brewers get Ellsbury, don't think it will happen though. -
Living out of Market XM is the only way I get to hear Brewers and I'll still take Uecker over 85% of the guys out there

I wouldn't mind getting him if it didn't cost us much. I really don't see why in the world the Sox would take Suppan, or why anyone would think we could move him for anyone.

He just has anger management issues. I forgot who it was but on XM homeplate one of the shows thought that Milton was just seeing what he could get away with this season when he got ejected this ST.

I'm not saying someone internally with the Phillies didn't say it, hell for all we know they could have been talking Fantasy baseball or some groundskeeper thought it was a good idea, I'm saying it is not a story. If he heard both teams discussed it then it is a story but that isn't what happened. Unless the Phillies threw in their best prospects anyone with any sense would know this trade would make zero sense for the Cardinals. I guess this is the Entertainment part of ESPN. I doubt the Cardinals will resign Carpenter or Lohse when they are up. Maybe because I live in STL but for awhile the talk has been the Cardinals are prepared and have been for awhile to resign Pujols when he is up and signing Holliday was a part of the plan to keep Pujols. The team could spend a lot more money then they do.

The cardinals will be able to sign Pujols, and this made up story is pretty much why I hate ESPN, well and the all the stupid catch phrases. The Cardinals are a very profitable team they can afford to spend more money then they do.

Right now I am picking my last spot between the two Gonzalez's. Adrian helps me this year Carlos helps me in the future and maybe not so much this year. I am keeping Beckham because after this year I'll just use him as my 2B.

Those actually would be the salaries for this year. I am thinking of keeping Cano over Carlos gonzalez. I like Carlos' possible long term value but if the Rockies don't trade an OF he might get stuck in a platoon. Also, it looks like most 3B & 2B that are solid are being kept. Plus if I keep Cano I have my infield set and just have to worry about Pitching and OF.

Totally forgot about Moon and The Road. I'll have to checkout the Cove and White ribbon. I liked Anvil! but it is like a lot of other music docs, very entertaining though.

Which films did you think got snubbed then? I thought Crazy Heart did but outside of that I wasn't too overly impressed by anything, maybe I didn't see the right movies. I agree about the Decade tons of great movies.

What a terrible year for the Oscars to expand the nominees. I really hope The hurt locker wins best picture out of the 6 nominees I saw I'd say it was by far the best. If Jeff Bridges doesn't win I'll be pissed. Not that Crazy Heart was a great movie, a very enjoyable one though, after seeing what got nominated I'd say it got robbed of a best picture nomination.

Ok so I need to pick my keepers in a league and am looking for a 2nd opinion. We keep 7 and cap is $275 and every year keepers salaries go up $4. Keeping for Sure: Ellsbury $15 Gordon Beckham $5 Ben Zobrist $5 Adam Wainwright $12 Pretty Sure: Prince Fielder $34 Not so sure Adrian Gonzalez $26 Carlos Gonzalez $5 Robinson Cano $14 Buster Posey $5 Thinking of keeping the Two gonzalez's but if I keep Cano I'll have my entire IF if I don't I can move Beckham to 2b and go after a 3B in the draft or keep him at 3B, move Zobrist to @B and go after a ss. Posey is a good keeper but I don't think he'll help me much and probably could get him around that price anyways. What are your thoughts.
