    Bad plays by three players in one instance. I didn't think that was possible. It looked as though Howard walked to home he should have been to home around the same time that ball was at 2B. Horrible play by Victorino and Howard and whoever was going to 3rd also. No hustle by two players and a stupid play by Victorino.

    Range is more important at SS unless you have a 1B that has limited range like Prince. Hardy really is suited to be a 3B he has an excellent arm and I would rather see him at 3B. Again I believe Hardy has a better chance to be a gold glove 3B than at SS. If we really have to I would compensate Hardy for playing 3B instead of SS. Give him the contract he would have gotten if he would have stayed at SS. If not the next best option is a trade.

    Phew the Dodgers limit the damage and only let one run up. Looked bleak for awhile there with Lee's double with no outs.

    Were the Cubs really as good as their record during the season? Or is this the real Cubs team playing right now? I'm guessing the Cubs just went into an offensive slump like the Brewers did at the beginning of September. Now the Cubs are pressing and it is showing.

    It looks like Derek Lee is the only guy on the Cubs actually playing good for the Cubs.

    I would say the patience at the plate has been a plus and the defense really hasn't killed us this game.

    Wow got lucky on that one there. Gagne left a sweet pitch up in the zone. Wow how did Utley not hammer that pitch?

    That has been Gagne the whole season though. He looks good and then all of a sudden he throws a mistake pitch usually when he is ahead in the count.

    You can't expect someone in the media to know everything about every team. You can't expect a media guy to search on Google for this information they don't have that much time on their hands.

    DeJesus is a cheaper and younger version of Cameron minus the strike outs and the gold gloves. OK maybe not an exact copy of Cameron but he is cheaper and younger than Cameron. I would rather have DeJesus and his contract over Cameron and his contract and age. Cameron was great for the Brewers this year I just don't think Cameron is worth $10 million for a season. Even if DeJesus doesn't bring in that many runs compared to Cameron or Weeks it is still an improvement for the OBP and another LH bat. The Brewers need more patient hitters in the lineup right now. The power is there and I could live with Braun, Fielder, and Hardy as being the guys providing the majority of the power in the lineup. You will still have guys like Branyan, Hall, and Weeks in the lineup. Guys who when they get hot can give you a couple of days where they will carry the load for a Braun, Fielder, or Hardy.

    I touched on the thing about not having Sheets in the rotation. Which even if he does get injured that still leaves us a hole in the pitching department. I don't think it was a bad move at the time. It is something interesting to look at though. I was just wondering what everyone would think about an offense with Ramirez in it compared to having a pitcher like Sheets in the rotation. Which one will give you more wins over the year and which one will make you a contender?

    No. Braun is better defensively at LF than he was at 3B. I would rather have Hardy move over to 3B than having Braun back at 3B. If Hardy doesn't want to move over to 3B to bad move over there anyways. If Hardy wants to be selfish like that sure he can go and take the Sheffield route I wouldn't advise doing that though.
