  1. I’m not watching or listening to the game today. I was previously for the other games. I’m sorry guys I will continue to stop watching and listening to the games.
  2. You may have better luck at a garage/yard or estate sale. Probably could pick them up for free at an estate sale.
  3. The trade is what scares me. From some reports it was the Bucks who went the hardest after Morant. They were not willing to give up Rollins in the deal and now I wonder if they will.
  4. 107 in the summer league with a wooden bat. https://www.mlb.com/video/rintaro-sasaki-s-430-foot-homer
  5. From scouts that I have talked with. Also he has a lot of high exit velocities. He has a few close to 110. Launch angle is usually around 30 degrees. I don’t count that as it’s not a full season of baseball. I should have stated his second full year of playing baseball in the US. That was like 35 games so just a bit over a half of a season of college baseball.
  6. He has massive power and has a similar approach as Prince had. The weight is the biggest issue to me but he has the power and the hitting ability to be better than he has been in college. I think he is closer to 80 power and will be a regular 30-40 HR hitter while still hitting I the .270’s and getting on base at a decent clip. This is also only his second year in the US coming from Japan. Sometimes it takes some time to adjust for these type of players going from one country to another. The bat speed is there and he is right around the K mark that Burke was at. So it’s not like he is striking out more than Burke did. The results are just not where his true talent level is.
  7. Power wise I think he is better than Burke it just hasn’t shown in game yet. I also think he is a better hitter overall than Burke and he has more potential.
  8. But a 4th-7th round pick? I think he is closer to an early 2nd or late 1st than he is to a 4th-7th that I have seen floating around. There have been players who played great in the cape and did nothing after being drafted. The Brewers have drafted a few of those players in the past. The Cape is a good barometer for players but in no way am I taking that as anything more than another data point. He may have just slumped through the Cape that summer or just hit into bad luck.
  9. Am I overvaluing Rintaro Sasaki? Yes he is probably a 1B/DH but he is putting up some good numbers at Stanford this year. Currently slashing .271/.416/.607. Some have him as a 4th-7th round pick. Which is making me question my ranking on him. I think he is more of a late first or 1a or early second round pick. He doesn’t have the traits the Brewers look for so I don’t believe the Brewers pick him. Still he looks to be a Prince Fielder type with the bat.
  10. Thanks that makes more sense.
  11. I don’t get this trade at all. Bills trade 31, 66 and 101 and receive 35, 69 and 165. Each of the picks they received are worse than what they gave up. The 31-35 makes sense. The others don’t make any sense at all.
  12. This would be a bad pick assuming either Zion Rose or Rintaro Sasaki would be available at 25.
  13. Collins has been worse than Perkins/Matos so far this year and Mears has been better than Zerpa but not that much.
  14. It’s early in the season. The plan is to have Sproat available later in the year. So innings and pitch limits are in place now so he can be available in September and later. Otherwise he is going to turn into Manny Parra and be done by August.
  15. Top of the order no help there.
  16. The bottom of the order picked up the top of the order from the previous inning.
  17. Yeah I’m not sure why the contracts are not at a minimum 2-years and require a 2-year commitment.
  18. They can make the contract for more than one year.
  19. Pena is a SS and most SS’s don’t come on the market all that often. There would be a bidding war where the Brewers if they were interested would need to use a Made plus offer to beat out other offers. The Brewers wouldn’t do this but there would be some serious competition for Pena if he became available. This is not a Pena is worth this type of a package more of the demand he would create would be worth that much.
  20. The NIL has been bad because the schools have made it bad. It is like the ones making the decisions about the NIL money have never managed anything before and are just theoretical thinkers. This is not rocket science here this shouldn’t be all that difficult to figure out.
  21. Pena would be a very expensive get prospect wise. You are looking at a possible Made and another piece type of deal. I don’t see the Brewers doing that kind of trade. If Pena were to be made available on the trade market the Astros would have their pick of elite talent. You may have to overpay to get him so more than Made and another piece.
  22. If your place still has coax then you can do moca.
  23. That’s ok he doesn’t know who you are either.
  24. There was what one horrible tragedy and then another caused by a tsunami? As far as safety goes nuclear has had less safety issues than any other type of power plant.
