    It’s done once the draft order is known so after the ping pong balls. If the Bucks get hit with a draft pick loss it will be the 2031 or 2032 pick or both.

    Numbers should only be retired for all time greats. Yelich is not an all time great. If you want to consider him as a Brewer HoF sure go ahead but the number shouldn't be retired.

    I wouldn't want anything to do with Eck. I think someone like Charles Huff, Eliah Drinkwitz, Glenn Schumann, Buster Faulkner, Manny Diaz, Bryant Haines or Mike Shanahan would all be better fits than Eck.

    I wouldn’t expect any deals for non 40-man players until the team knows exactly when the season will start.

    I would rather trade for Hader than Devin. I just don’t trust Devin to be a reliable reliever regardless of what the stats say. That meltdown to the Mets has me really sour on him.

    Yeah 36 wins was overly optimistic. There is no way this team wins that many games even before the season started. I still standby the 2014-2016 76ers as the talent level for this team. I wouldn’t expect the Bucks to be any better than a 20-25 win team if they even get that many wins.

    Not that I would trade Contreras but there is a rumor the Yankees have already reached out to the Brewers on the availability of Contreras. I don't see the Yankees as a good fit for the Brewers. Maybe if the Brewers see Lagrange as someone they can fix and be more consistent you start there but after that I am not sure there is anyone I like in the Yankees org. Maybe something like Lagrange (RHP), Dietz (LHP), De Pena (OF), Lai (RHP) and Matic (3B/1B). Not the greatest return but the best that I could find on the Yankees prospect list. Lagrange and Dietz could be mid to top of the rotation starters. De Pena looks to be someone the Brewers would target for all of the skills he has. The problem is that the Brewers are already stacked in the OF in the minors. Matic is another player that fits the Brewers profile. Lai is another Brewers profile target but probably has the lowest ceiling of all the players traded for though I think he could be a solid back end starter. All in all the Yankees system just doesn't have the pieces to trade for Contreras IMHO.

    And for whatever reason you continue to bend over backwards to defend PC when he completely gave up on recruiting. The OL and QB position being as bad as they have been has been on him. Going all the way back to the start of 2019.

    You are seriously asking this? Do you even follow college football? Seriously? Recruiting is extremely important in college football even in the transfer era. You still have to recruit. It takes 2-3 years to recruit players some even as young as freshmen in high school. That would put that player at about a sophomore or junior currently. I also pointed out Fickell’s failure with the QB transfers he has brought in. I’m not really putting the blame on one person but it started with PC and it has continued with Fickell.

    I still like this team obviously this was a bad game. It looks like they don’t trust Joseph to throw the ball without turning it over. Which for today’s game was a bad idea. Only being able to run the ball is not going to work you have to throw the ball and be able to go deep. Joseph doesn’t look to be that guy who can consistently hit on the deep balls. His decision making is really poor and he has an average arm. The QB position has been a problem since Mertz was the only option at QB. This is what happens when you don’t seriously recruit at a position for three straight years under PC. Now Fickell also deserves some blame as the QB’s he has brought in haven’t stayed healthy or performed. Hopefully Hopkins is a better QB next year.

    I think the NLCS against the Dodgers was a far more emotional series than against the Rays. Yes it was the World Series but after what happened last year that series was just more important emotionally than the WS was. Not downplaying the WS but that NLCS moment was just far more emotional.

    I found this funny. The Padres didn't even invite the last two World Series winning managers to interview for their open management position back in 2016. Also in 2015 both Roberts and Murphy held the position of manager for the Padres.

    If you’re just scraping info from Twitter just have it create a Python script for you to do that. The vibe code should be able to do this easily. Then you can have the LLM also help you with creating a dashboard to easily reference it into a HTML file or excel.
