  1. I like Wandy. If the Astros are looking to lower payroll, I wouldn't mind doing this Wandy for Wolf trade.
  2. Wow, didn't expect this, I like it. I am very much in favor of the Brewers signing Aoki, his batting style is similiar to Ichiro. His BA and OBP has been consistently good. I am glad that DM has been interested in getting Asian players. There was Tomo Ohka, Takashi Saito and now hopefully Norichika Aoki. This makes it that much more interesting to watch Brewers games for me.
  3. I think this is not a bad deal for the Brewers. It's a lot cheaper than signing Prince to a mega-contract, which is something the Brewers cannot afford to do.
  4. I think Derrek Lee is a suitable one year solution at 1B for the Brewers, maybe he could be interested to join his longtime teammate Aramis Ramirez in Miller Park. I hope DM explores this possibility with Derrek Lee and his agent right away.
  5. Starting Marcum in Game 6 over Yo was a very stupid mistake by Roenicke, and using Loe was another really stupid mistake. Roenicke was also wrong to say that Yo has not pitched on 3 days rest in his career, Yo had pitched on 3 days rest in Game 4 of the 2008 NLDS, and he pitched great in that game. LaRussa has shown to be a much smarter and better manager, Roenicke has shown to be a clueless, stupid rookie manager who is not smart enough to manage in postseason.
  6. Hope we see Grienke pitch like an Ace tonight, gotta win this game and put more presuure on the Cards. Go Brewers !! btw "Under Pressure" by Queen/Freddie Mercury and David Bowie is one of best songs ever to me, I just love that song.
  7. Tonight's game is probably a must win game for the Brewers. Very tough to win the series down 1-3 against the Cards. Go Brewers !!
  8. If Marcum is hurt and it is affecting his pitching, then he should be honest about it and should not pitch in Game 6. Instead he should be given more rest time and if the Brewers make it to the World Series, I wouldn't mind having him make another start.
  9. The Cards may be hot, but there is no reason to make it easier for them to win. I bet LaRussa is delighted to hear that Roenicke is starting Marcum for Game 6, what a dumb mistake. The Cards are a really tough team to beat, we must approach each game in this series like it is Game 7. This means using our best SPs and best relievers, and be ready for a quick pitching switch when necessary. Roenicke isn't doing this and it is frustrating, he seems to be managing this series like he would in the regular season. Who knows when we will have this WS opportunity again, we don't want to have any regrets for not playing your best players if we lose. I still really hope that the Brewers go with this rotation in this series: Game 3 - Yo Game 4 - Greinke Game 5 - Wolf or Narveson Game 6 - Yo Game 7 - Greinke Greinke may not be pitching as good as we like so far this postseason, but he is still our second best starter and the team is 2-0 when he starts. Our offense hits well with good run support when he starts and hopefully this trend continues.
  10. I love to have CC back, it will be a dream come true if that happens.
  11. In NLDS 2008, Yo pitched well on 3 days rest. I don't think pitching on 3 days rest will affect Yo in Game 6 at home. As for Greinke, there was very little difference in his pitching on 3 days rest or 4 days rest this postseason, I don't think pitching on 3 days rest will affect him for Game 4. And if this series do go to Game 7, I much prefer to have Greinke pitching at home with the World Series on the line in hopes that his unbeaten streak at home continues. As for Game 5, either Wolf or Narveson starting is fine by me.
  12. This stats mentioned above are much better than Marcum's stats this postseason, and the team's W-L record is 0-2 with him on the mound. In 2008, I was really upset when Sveum decided to start Suppan in Game 4 instead of Yo. Suppan gave up 3 homers and 5 ERs in 3 innings and was quickly replaced by Yo who pitched great, but the Brewers could only muster 2 runs and was knocked out of postseason. I hope Roenicke don't repeat history, please start our best pitchers in this series.
  13. Roenicke, please don't be a stubborn, stupid fool. This is an extremely important series and we may not have this opportunity again for many years to come. Please pick your best pitchers and don't screw around.
  14. As much as I dislike Tony LaRussa, he is a much better manager than Roenicke.
  15. I really hope Roenicke goes with this rotation the rest of this series: #3, Gallardo #4, Greinke #5, Wolf #6, Gallardo #7, Greinke This is an extremely important series for Brewers fans and franchise, I hope Roenicke don't screw this up.
  16. Marcum's away stats is much better than at home, I wonder if we can go with this: #1, Greinke #2, Wolf #3, Gallardo #4, Greinke #5, Marcum #6, Gallardo #7, Greinke Greinke has been unbeaten at home, it would be nice to have him for game 7 if necessary. I know this is asking a lot of Yo and Greinke, but this could give us the best chance of winning this series.
  17. Another thing the Brewers have to overcome is to win playoff games away from home, they probably need to do that against the Cards. Seems like their poor away record has spread to the postseason.
  18. I think the Cards have a better team than the Dbacks. It's gonna be really tough to beat the Cards and it will really hurt if we lose to them. I hope the Brewres step it up and play each game like there is no tomorrow.
