  1. Clips of the Championship post game radio show on WSSP https://www.audacy.com/1250amthefan/sports/milwaukee-bucks
  2. Good debut today by Gustave in extra innings and got his first W.
  3. Thank god the Bucks finally win one. This is a must win game.
  4. Think Urias has solidify himself as the Brewers everyday 3B for this year.
  5. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2021/06/pirates-trade-troy-stokes-jr-jandel-gustave-brewers.html On 25th June, Brewers traded 17-year-old catcher Samuel Escudero to the Pirates for Jandel Gustave and Troy Stokes Jr. On 7th July, Brewers selected right-hander Jandel Gustave to the 40-man roster and added him to the big league bullpen. Gustave was pretty good for the SF Giants in 2019, interesting to see how he performs for the Brewers. Could be another under-rated bullpen pickup by Stearns, like the Strickland pickup.
  6. I've been a Bucks and Brewers fan at the same time when I was living in Milwaukee back in the mid 90s. The Bucks have made the NBA finals, now I fully expect the Brewers to make the World Series this year too.
  7. Lauer has done a decent job as the 6th starter.
  8. Neither am I! The Bucks haven't been in the finals since I was a year out of high school! I suddenly feel rather ancient... Wow, you are ancient The last time the Bucks made the finals was the same year I was born, and I already feel old. The 1974 finals was 6 months before I was born to be exact
  9. I've been a Bucks fan since 1995, and this is the first time as a fan that the Bucks make the NBA Finals. What a great feeling.
  10. Yeah, Donaldson would be intriguing. Playing him at 1B might be the move with him if Urias keeps hitting. He’d also give us some depth at 3B with Shaw out. He could be a #4 or #5 in our lineup daily. If the Twins are looking to clear Donaldson's hefty contract, I wouldn't mind trading Urias and Cain for him. Have Donaldson replace Urias at 3B.
  11. As Ozzie guillen once said Winning is fun. Fun is winning What Ozzie said sounds like it was taken from this song Yeah, 16 over .500 baby!
  12. Stearns acquiring Hunter Strickland last month has been pretty good, Strickland has basically replaced Feyereisen in the bullpen. Adames has been performing like an all star caliber SS for the Brewers and Trevor Richards has pitched decently in middle relief. The Adames trade keeps getting better. With Urias playing and hitting well, and Eric Lauer pitching much better, the Grisham trade is also looking better.
  13. 2021 stats: Nolan Arenado: .266/.319/.509 827 OPS, 132 OPS+, 2.3 bWAR Adolis Garcia: .279/.318/.550 867 OPS, 134 OPS+, 2.7 bWAR Randy Arozarena: .263/.345/.421 766 OPS, 120 OPS+, 2.2 bWAR Patrick Wisdom: .277/.341/.699 1039 OPS, 182 OPS+, 1.4 bWAR It sure is nice to see players experience success after leaving the Cardinals after so many years of the opposite happening. Kolten Wong is a good example of hitting well after leaving the Cards. Currently Wong has a higher BA, OBP and OPS than Arenado. If I'm not mistaken, the trade for Arenado lead to the Cards not picking up Wong's option resulting in Wong becoming a FA and the Brewers getting him.
