    Escobar's agent screwed this up. Jeff's has a signed contract but so does Legends and Legends has an exclusive contract as well. When Macha changed the travel plans and Legends had to reschedule last weeks signing they decided to force the issue and schedule it for the same day/time as Jeff's. Might as well just wait a week or two and Legends will flood ebay with stuff. Hell, in the last couple of weeks you could have bought a Gamel signed ball for under $20 and signed photos for under $10 (one went for $1.79). Of course there is the high shipping.

    That's triple the average attendance of a UW-Whitewater home game (one of the best DIII football schools in the nation). So I'm not sure why you put quotations around crowd...But ND isn't DIII so why compare the attendance to Whitewater?

    Escobar and Gamel public signing with Legends on September 9. Both are Legends exclusives.

FireKenMacha.com is also not used but the domain is owned by Chris Hill, who has a Las Vegas address but a Milwaukee phone number, (414) 732-1653.     Send Gamel down, let him play every day for 6 weeks, then he can come back September 1.

    I agree, unless you have a unique item to be signed or really want that 2 seconds in front of the player, just wait a few days and Legends will dump loads of stuff on ebay that will go for much less than they charged at the signing. They have a public with Gamel now set up for August 13 in Delafield. Prices are $20-$30.

    The only time I ever sent two cards was a few years ago to Sheets in spring training. He signed and returned one card. Didn't even return the other one.

    I could understand if Hall was blocking a top prospect from coming up but we already have our top prospect up here and he's not playing anyway. Releasing Hall wouldn't change that. I guess we could release Hall and bring up Heether but I don't see that it buys us much. ETA, if Hall is causing internal problems because he's not playing then by all means cut his butt loose.

    He's been the invisible man all season. He's been at Miller Park the least amount of time since he took over. I guess his regular job needs his attention more this year than in the past.

    Who are we talking about here, major leaguers or first graders? If this hurts anyone's confidence then goodbye, see ya later, go try to find a real job. If "everyone knows the SP situation is bad", then why is it so awful that Braun comes out and says it? Some of you are acting like this is pee wee soccer and both teams should eat graham crackers and drink juice boxes after the game. We sure don't want anyone having hurt feelings.

    Come on, those that suck know they suck, they aren't asking "Gee, I wonder if he's talking about me?". And if it upsets McClung enough that he can't return to the bullpen then he can give up his $1.6 million salary and find something else to do. Braun was asked questions and he answered them.

    He's spot on. He gets it. As opposed to Macha's comments about the Gamel situation: " I was put in a little bit of a 'zim-zam.' It's got me flummoxed."
