They have their main offices on 4th Ave and 5th St. I think the lot he was referring to was probably the one behind the STrib building on Portland Ave. I'm trying to think of how many of these games I am going to attend. I live only a little over a mile from the dome, so it would be so easy to walk over there and catch the Crew. I'll probably go to 2 of the 3.

What is your budget? As others have said, whatever you do, do NOT sit far down the foul lines. My neck and back hurt after the game whenever I sit there. You are literally twisted looking towards home plate the entire game. I've sat 2nd row in section 131 a couple of times before and I like that. It is nice because you can almost reach out and touch the on deck batter. I had a chat with Johan once while sitting there. The prices are also not too bad ($53 bucks). Overall, I would say stick between sections 118-132 on the lower level if you want to be behind home plate. In the outfield, 139+ on the lower level are all pretty good in my experience. There is always a chance you'll get a HR ball out there. As TheCrew07 said, in the upper level, I find it more enjoyable to be down the line or above the right field outfield (above the baggy). There truly aren't very many good baseball seats there. The place is really hurt by not having seats down the line face home at all.

Tailgator - Not sure how blackout rules apply to ST games. I would assume it would be the same as regular season (if you are in the teams "home" area, you can't get it on mlb.tv). As far as a proxy server, I haven't even thought of that yet. I can try it as soon as the Twins play a game on mlb.tv (I am in MPLS so they would be blacked out for me) and I'll let you know if that works or not.

What is this bundle you speak of? I've never seen it. It sounds pretty awesome. Do you get it through MLB.com or ESPN.com?

Not sure if there was already a thread with this or not, but I searched and couldn't find anything. Anybody else excited to see it in full force this year?? I used it last year, and thought it was great. Here in MN I wouldn't be able to watch the Brewers games otherwise. I again got the premium package ($110 for the whole season). Looks like they added some awesome features like DVR capability, picture in picture (games and highlights), and a new feature where you can tile the screens and watch 4 games at once. This tiling feature is my favorite. I have my comp hooked up to my 40" LCD, so I'll be tiling that and watching 4 games on the TV. For those who don't have the ability to watch Brewers games through cable TV and have $110 to throw down, I totally recommend it. It was sooo nice having it last year and it looks like these new features will make this service even better this year. They also have a cheaper one ($80 I believe) but you don't get all of the fancy features and you only get the lowest quality format, but it is still better than nothing.

I have the Curve 8330 and love it. These things are beyond durable. I REALLY like having the full keypad. It took a little bit to get used to, but texting and sending emails is super easy now. Do you have any specific questions on the phone, or just looking for my experience with it?

Holy moly! I just saw the video of him on Brewers.com and he looks soo much skinnier to me. I bet he dropped at least 20-30lbs. It is really evident in his face and belly (obviously). Long story: This is nearly the exact situation I was in about a month ago. I am currently in college, and have never had a laptop. I have built my own desktop PCs for over 8 years now, and have always loved them for playing games and the like. Knowing that I was keeping my desktop PC for games (CS) and other stuff, I went with one of the new 13.3" Macbooks. I chose the smaller one because like you, I mainly just use it for taking notes, some microsoft office stuff, surfing the web, etc. I am overly impressed with this computer. The construction is SOLID with the single piece aluminum body, and I love all of the features that Macs offer. I am very glad I bought one. I upgraded to 4GB RAM on mine (overkill for my use) and it just flies. The battery will last for ~3-4 hours of normal use. If you need to plug it in, the power adapter is quite small compared to Dell ones. The magnetic power adapter can get kind of annoying because it is so easy to pull out, but to that end I am sure I would have pulled a different laptop off of my desk by now (I am kind of clumsy). The trackpad on these is another amazing thing. After using my Macbook, it is nearly impossible to use a normal laptop because the trackpad on the Macbook is so much better (1 finger moves the mouse, 2 fingers scrolls, 3 fingers goes back and forth on pages, 4 fingers works like alt + tab). I find my Macbook trackpad much more enjoyable to use than my roommates Dells. I also like that the entire trackpad clicks when you push it down, although you can set it to click by just touching like on PC laptops. Really, my only gripe with the whole laptop is the screen. The new Macbooks have a high gloss screen that might as well be a mirror if you have a light source behind you. I am also a neat freak, and that screen attracts fingerprints like nothing else I have ever had. I manage this by keeping the cleaning cloth apple provided in the sleeve with my laptop so I can wipe it down whenver http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif. Long story short: Would I trade my desktop PC in for a mac? Absolutely not! That being said, I am overly impressed with my macbook, and love to recommend them to people. They are portable, functional, durable, and flexible to do nearly everything I need. Seeing as you are mainly going to surf the internet, listen to music, take notes, do homework, and play a few games, I would definitely recommend one to you. Go to Bestbuy or an Apple store, play around with one, and see for yourself. It is a great piece of equipment. I also recommend applecare. I normally hate these types of warranties, but on a $2000 laptop, I can afford $180 for a 3-year warranty. I have heard that apple is very good about repairing/replacing things under this.

I'll answer your question with a question: Why would you buy an artificial tree in the first place? Particularly if it is $400. Personally, I love going to pick out and cut down my own christmas tree every year.

I stole your idea and am going with Mose. I think I've done a pretty good job with the costume. My only concern is that not many people will recognize it, but it's not much of a concern. The people that do know who I am will love it.

That to me just doesnt factor in due to the incredibly small sample size. I would be willing to bet that Longoria has a sophmore slump much greater than Braun's (if Braun had one). I'm not sure if there is a reasonable way to quantify that, but I would take that bet.

Have you been watching the post-season? Longoria is absolutely kiling the Red Sox. We'll see what he does against the Phillies in the W.S. so we can do an apples-to-apples comparison w/ Braun, but if he keeps this up, he will be a vastly superior player in the post-season while being similar in the regular season.

Tim Lincecum is one name that comes to mind for me. The key would be to get a young player that is cheap, but extremely talented. I don't even know if Braun for Lincecum is even because Braun will prove to be MUCH more affordable over the next 7 years. Evan Longoria is another name that comes to mind, but based on their respective performances this year in the post-season, that might be over-valuing Braun a touch.
