That is completely untrue, particularly for high level or specialized positions.

Fully agree with Hiura - let him go down to AAA and try to figure it out. Lots of potential still there, just needs to find it again. Failing night after night at the MLB level is not doing him any good. He is a potential long term asset. -
I can’t imagine why JBJ would opt out - especially with potential CBA issues looming. Isn’t the whole point of the player opt out to protect themselves in case of a terrible (or great) season?

Yep, I think it’s good for us. Fewer innings overall with the 7 inning games and we get the”A” bullpen rested for day in case they are needed.
