In case anyone hasn’t ever been there - Soldier Field is awful. They really did a “half” job when they remodeled it.
-
Go crew! I was really hoping our game would finish before the cards.
-
Given the recent panic, I thought it would be good to remind everyone of the research showing September momentum doesn’t really correlate to playoff success: https://www.si.com/mlb/2017/09/14/cleveland-indians-los-angeles-dodgers-playoff-odds

Awesome! Plus lots of pitches for wainwright in the first
-
It will still be stressful to watch them running free down the field - even if they can’t catch.
-
Yep, certainly best watched without sound

Ed Kirkpatrick wore number 3 in 1977 and then no one wore it until 1986 - Juan Castillo
-
It looks like Wily has finally reached his potential! I had no idea he was still around. I had high hopes for him as a Brewer.
-
Can he take an awkward route to the mound before throwing his lollipop?
-
unbelievable, the Brewers have a no hitter for the first time since 1987, the second time ever - and people are complaining. I had tears in my eyes. I wasn’t able to see Nieves’ gem, listened to it on the radio at work. Was afraid I would never see a Brewers no hitter. This is a great night.

Agree with all of the advice for San Francisco, by far my favorite park. It will be chillier than you are expecting! Oakland - do not stay near the stadium. The park is in a very very bad area of town. Stay somewhere else and take Bart to the game.
-
That is awesome - thank you for sharing!
-
The best 16 of them all!
-
And a consistently terrible slider
-
Nice job Mr Lauer. 6 darn good innings (so far)
-
I switched to the giants announcers. They have been raving about Urias and his approach at the plate.
-
Oh my, who are the YouTube announcers? This is awful
-
Clearly I was wrong regarding Anderson. Glad they called up someone who can go multiple innings in his place.
-
Not sure why they would IL Anderson - unless you know something about the injury that hasn’t been disclosed yet. I suspect he is a guy they would rather have eat as many innings as possible this year so they can limit Burnes, Woodruff, Peralta. I wonder if they can logistically get folks from AAA in time for the day game today. Would be nice to replace Topa for today, if nothing else.

Brewers acquire Daniel Norris from Tigers
Sixtofan replied to homer's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
With Norris and Curtiss, I don’t think the usage issue is related to the inning they pitched. I think it had more to do with not being allowed to be used for the matchups and workload the team would have preferred. -
So that puts us up 10.5 - tying the largest lead the Brewers have ever had.
-
I love the Giants announcers, I think they are the best in baseball.

Packer 2021 Team Discussion (Rodgers Out Vs. Chiefs)
Sixtofan replied to CheezWizHed's topic in Other Sports
He looks like a really solid addition. I do wonder why he was available…. -
And that you can order a print of that for $499. It would be interesting to see the house where that is appropriate wall decor.

Playoff games have not been included in the past. Need to sign up for a trial of one of the other streaming services to get tbs etc
