So…Yelich only hangs out with Jace Peterson?
  2. Sixtofan
That goes way beyond “just let them have fun and show personality” - geez.

I am really not excited about Shaw returning

Dodgers continuing to add to their collection of Brewers castoffs

Bench bat is listed as number 3 in the reviewing the brew article - it counts down backwards. 1. Relief pitcher. 2. First Base. 3. Bench bat

Excellent point about baseball being a hyper local sport that is hard to watch locally. I have honestly never thought of it that way. Probably because I have been out of the local market for 25 years.

I have found it much harder to get through an entire nfl game. I still love football but there is so much dead time. But I think it is just because I am getting old!

How do I block someone’s posts from view?

Brett Phillips pitching debut was a treat to watch. 94 mph fastball, 47 mph something else. Balk, funky delivery, sprint in from the bullpen. Really just the whole package.

I don’t know why he would opt out with the looming uncertainty of the cba in the off-season. It would seem like an unnecessary risk when he can wait until after 2022.

Thank you for poi ting out Gallo’s defensive ability. I too had always assumed that he was awful on defense…….. I like Gallo for this team a lot.

Probably not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but I am pleasantly surprised that he cleared waivers.

Cecil got a lot nicer as he got older. There are lots of kids from the 1970s and 1980s that can tell stories about him being fairly rude when asked for an autograph.

That was really stupid. Scherzer should have dropped his pants too!

What the heck? 27 seems a bit old to decide to try to play football……

Man, Chacin is tough to watch. So sloooowwwwwww

Agree, there seem to be a lot of posts lately geared toward “player x who the Brewers foolishly let go, got a hit last night (or pitched well)” and it seems to be intended to say that the front office is not competent. Didn’t there used to be a thread for ex-Brewers? It would be nice to go back to one consolidated thread.

I think that was reds promotional staff that gave him the ball
  19. Sixtofan
Have they said how long they expect the delay to last?

The long silences and the eye blinking really convinced me of his innoncence.
  21. Sixtofan
But they are. There are videos online of guys in the dugouts picking up a foul ball and showing how it sticks to their hand. There is a crazy amount of goop on some of the balls.
  22. Sixtofan
They really need to teach Dan V how to slide -my goodness
  23. Sixtofan
I think it’s by design given the variable and unpredictable performance of mid level relievers. Sign a bunch, see who works out, replace the rest.
  24. Sixtofan
I was just thinking the same thing!
  25. Sixtofan
You know I forgot about Avi not running that ball earlier this year but I had noticed how hard he runs down the line every time now.
