    I'd be willing to bet our scouts weren't there to watch Guthrie. Most likely there to scout someone else like Gonzalez as was just said above.

    The Brewers had scouts at the Seattle/Tampa game tonight. Makes me think they're scouting Ryan, Wilson, and Kennedy in some combination.

    Punk is set-up perfectly to be the next Stone Cold. Not sure if it'll happen or not, but it should. Austin led the Alliance at one point, so it wouldn't really ruin anything if he led a stable with Cabana, etc. We'll see what direction they go in. It has me watching and interested, that much is for sure.

    The 3 starting pitchers we face this series are a combined 7-28 with ERA's of 4.55, 6.12, and 4.66.

    Jamey Carroll is reportedly out of the Dodgers lineup tonight. Hasn't been officially traded yet though reports Olney.

    If it's sold out you probably won't get a deal from scalpers. Most overcharge in that case. Although, you could try waiting until right at or around first pitch, and you might be able to get some for a cheaper price. Otherwise just use stubhub.

    I wonder if Lopez will play tonight? Makes me wonder why they said they were sending him to AAA. Seems pretty quick to change their minds. Maybe Doug realized that he won't trade for another 2B option. Possibly Furcal, or someone else who is more of an exclusive SS, but not a 2B.

    I don't think that Melvin is done. Things might not play out until Sunday though. The mostly likely scenario is that teams are asking too much for infield help, because they know we need it. The price will do down by Sunday when they have no other offers on the table and are desperate.

    Yep HHH brought him back full-time on Raw this week. It's legit too, he is back. And Cole might be off Raw too reportedly.

    Yep, Nexus could've been as big as the NWO if they would've booked it right, but they didn't. Orton does suck as a face. Just turning into another Cena. It's a shame. Also, Jim Ross is back full time right now, which is amazing.

    Yeah, there have been some storylines that could've been gold, but they completely messed up. Nexus is the main one that comes to my mind. They booked that angle terribly.

    There is a SS prospect that we would be getting in the trade also. Not really an option for this year, but possibly in the future.

    I have a hard time believing that Melvin is worrying about a trade like this with the injury to Weeks and his search for infield help going on. If I were him, there's no way I'd do it unless I could get Beckham or someone else like Ramirez into the trade. Although I guess it depends mostly on the money issues involved. I have a hard time believing we'd need to add prospects to get another piece. Probably would just have to take on more salary and that would do it. I also have a hard time believing this guy would make up a random trade like this for no reason, so it's definitely possible.

    I agree. This is really the only game changing move Melvin can make at this point. He should do it for sure if possible. Ramirez would look great in the 5 hole.

    Totally agree on all points. I haven't been this interested in the WWE in years. I've watched all along, but I'm more entertained now than I have been since the attitude era ended. Absolutely love the Punk storyline, and the McMahon/HHH things is interesting too. Actually has me excited for Raw each week. Haven't said that in awhile. I don't think they rushed him back necessarily, but yeah they probably could've prolonged it a little bit. I think Punk/Cena at SS will be HUGE. I can see why they wanted to do it. I can't wait to see what comes next. Very compelling stuff.
