  1. I wonder if Greinke will even finish the 2nd inning? Pitchers are usually on a pitch count of about 30-35 the first time out. He's only got about 10 pitches to go.
  2. It's nice to even hear Greinke pitch, lol. I'm loving it.
  3. I would like New Noise. It's currently second behind the good, the bad, and the ugly for some reason. New Noise would be 100 times better, no question about it. I have no idea why so many people want the good, the bad, and the ugly when they could have a song like New Noise.
  4. Yeah. I didn't catch him this morning, but I read on Twitter that Witrado has been doing a nice job there. Witrado is much more "in tune" with the organization as a whole so it should be nice hearing him regularly on 1250.You mean McCalvy? I think McCalvy will be better than Witrado. I wasn't a big fan of him at all. He seemed like he didn't care most of the time, and made ridiculous predictions like saying Braun might be shopped. McCalvy will be much, much better.
  5. http://www.millerparkdrunk.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Brett-Lawrie-1.jpg This makes Lawrie a tool. I don't see Braun ending up in situations like this. Braun is definitely confident, but Lawrie is truly arrogant and a tool.
  6. Actually, he was reported to come to camp in the best shape of his life. It's just a freak injury. It could happen to anybody. I don't know why people jump on his back just because he got a muscle strain. Happens to everybody.
  7. McClendon not off to a great start in the race for the final spot in the bullpen. I still think it's Green's job all the way.
  8. Loving that Gomez action there. Hope he gets on base enough to see more of that this year.
  9. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/117085848.html Mention about Hart in TH's blog. Out 2 weeks instead of 2-3 days originally thought. Hopefully sitting him out that long will prevent it from lingering.
  10. Alright, I've got a league going on espn.com. I have 6 people so far, so you are welcome to join. I'm hoping we can get more people from this site to join, if not just anyone who is an avid fantasy player. If you know anyone else also let me know. Just PM me your email address and I'll invite you. Also, if you have any suggestions for setup of the league let me know. I just left everything at the default setting until I get a feel for what everyone wants to do.
  11. I'm looking to start a new fantasy baseball league. I am a big time fantasy baseball player, and I'm sure there are others on this board that are as well. Whoever is interested just let me know. I will start up the league on whatever site most people want to do it on. I prefer epsn.com, but yahoo is also good. Let the games begin!
  12. Not sure where to put this, but is anyone on here interested in playing fantasy baseball this year? I figured we could start up a brewerfan.net league. I am a big time fantasy baseball player, and I'm sure there are others on this board that are as well. Whoever is interested just let me know. I will start up the league on whatever site most people want to do it on. I prefer epsn.com, but yahoo is also good. Let the games begin!
  13. I'm sorry, but it's a terrible choice for Axford's intro music. Would people really get pumped up listening to this? It's a good song and all, but it's terrible for this purpose.
  14. How is the good, the bad, and the ugly winning? Absolutely horrible voting.
  15. I'm for Korn - Blind or Disturbed - Down with the Sickness, that song just pumps me up.
  16. I would guess that Greinke gets the start the day after the home opener, so he can start the Sunday after against the Cubs. After that they might just go with a straight 5-man rotation.
  17. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/116862568.html Little snipet in there about Marcum starting the first Spring Training game. If you schedule it out that lines him up for the home opener. Feb 28, Mar 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and April 4(day of the home opener). Seems to me like it'll be Greinke, Gallardo, Wolf, Marcum, Narveson for our rotation then.
  18. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/116777079.html Lucroy says that he will catch bullpen sessions for the new pitchers so he can get in sync with them. He will also do everything else that doesn't involve his right hand. He should be back fairly quickly once he's cleared to play.
  19. Speaking of class, or lack there of http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/23/reds-outfielder-jonny-gomes-celebrated-news-of-adam-wainwrights-elbow-injury/ What a jerk. That's the definition of classless right there. He's getting one to the head the first time they play the Cards.
  20. Never mind, I've got the answer. A DL stint can be backdated 9 days into spring training as long as the player doesn't appear in a regular spring training game. That might be an option too.
  21. Now it's Mike Rivera's time to shine. I hope he tears the cover off the ball and beats out Nieves and Kottaras, because I don't want either on this roster.
  22. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/116773349.html Blog on this from TH. Does anyone know how far before the season you can back date a DL stint, or does it have to start on the day of the first game? I would think that Lucroy will only need the minimum stint on the DL for this. 4 weeks puts him at March 23, which is 8 days before opening day. Might be an outside chance that he could make it back for then, but idk.
