Think I'd look to trade McGehee too, he's been awful defensively at 3B. I hope McGehee isn't the Brewers starting 3B next season. I realize it may be really tough given his contract. But how about Wolf too? Oh yeah, I just figured it would be impossible to trade him. I'll throw Gomez in there too then. -

Funny, I would say the same thing about Carlos Gomez.This is an absolutely ridiculous comment by Macha in my opinion, partially because of the reason you just stated. Why don't we actually see if he can hit major league pitching before making that inference? He sure looked like he could in those 5 at-bats at least.

Who could then play first when Fielder is traded.McGehee, and call up Gamel. Or Edmonds, and call up Cain.

I think it has a lot to do with the run production of Weeks, Hart, and Braun in front of him in the lineup.

Imagine how bad he'll get if we trade Hart and/or Fielder. He'll be pressing so much that he'll probably end up leading the league in strikeouts.

It would be nice to see Gallardo have a solid outing. Although anything less than 10 runs given up will look good at this point.
