What happened to me is that the HD broadcast was scheduled to end at 9:30 so it shut off. I had to switch to regular tv.

I'm pissed that we might have to use Hoffman in this game. That might make him unavailable tomorrow. Would be nice to get him the night off.

I think people need to realize that watching homers and acting cocky is what players do. Especially when they are as good as Braun and Pujols. They can back it up with ease. Braun consistently comes up with big hits late in games, so he deserves to properly celebrate much like he did tonight. I agree that the Cardinals should try to beat us if they don't wanna see us untuck 'em. I don't see what's wrong with that either. Mike Cameron, one of the classiest and nicest players in the game, came up with it, so how could it be that bad. -
Deal with it Brenly, you got a prime example tonight of why Macha is a better choice for manager than you are. Have fun watching us sweep you this weekend!

I would have to mute every broadcast and turn Ueck on. Sad thing is that Davey and Telly are almost better than Bill. Davey is more knowledgeable, he just doesn't seem to be the prototypical announcer. I miss the days of Daron and Matt, they made it interesting at least.

It's because he doesn't want his voice to crack when he gets excited after a no-hitter. If anyone remembers his call of Braun's homer vs. the Cubs in the last game last year, you know what I mean.

At least something happens in the NL game. There are double switches, and pinch-hitters all the time. In the AL, all that happens is an occasional pinch-hitter for a catcher or weak hitter late in games. I find the NL game to be more interesting and excited. It involves a lot more strategy, even when it comes to pitching changes. In the AL, managers never need to worry about having to hit for anyone really, much less the pitcher. I think the DH should be taken out completely. Make the managers work a little.

Expect Gamel to be up and playing 3b if Braun goes to the DL. Hall as the everyday LF. -
Works for me. I'll take Bush in that matchup. Gallardo over Dempster and Soup over Marshall.

Actually we don't face Harden at all, because he pitches Wednesday. Dempster pitches Saturday, and Marshall on Sunday. Friday we will face some no-name, I'm guessing Guzman. So all the matchups favor us. Piniella won't push back Lilly to Friday either, because he usually does anything to avoid starting a lefty against us.

Gamel wouldn't come up because he wouldn't get any playing time. He has never played outfield so that won't happen. Hall wouldn't be jsut thrown out there after not playing it for over a year, and has been playing well. Sadly, Nelson and Duffy would play. Gwynn might get the call-up. -
I'm not crazy about Weeks and Hart being flipped from last night. Put that back and I'd be fine with this lineup.
