I was there for at least 2 hours after one of the playoff games last year. Maybe longer.
-
I don't understand why Macha doesn't just play Gamel at 3b due to Hall's struggles, and give Gerut a shot at DH. Gamel will likely be getting at least a few starts at 3b against the Cards, and it would be nice to give him a shot in the field before that series starts.
-
It's usually 3 hours before as far as I know, unless a large crowd is expected and people are waiting to get in. Then they will usually open it up earlier.
-
1 1/2 hours. The gates only open 2 hours before for marquee games, and Saturday and Sunday games in June, July, and August.
-
In other news, Bill Hall still can't hit righties. Oh wait, that's not news.
-
Wow, we let Cuddyer hit for the cycle.
-
I think Slowey's life just flashed before his eyes.
-
I think we would've saved at least 4 runs if McGehee made that catch on the pop up, and Counsell didn't drop that double play ball.
-
So much for DiFelice eating innings.
-
No point in using the whole bullpen on one game, especially when Villanueva and Coffey can also setup.
-
Because he can eat up innings. Julio's max is 2, and McClung has been in the last few games in a row.
-
Doesn't seem like a good time to be playing the Twins.
-
This is a terrible showing overall tonight. Pitching, offense, and now defense.
-
Idk, but that's one of the worst lineups I've ever seen. Todd Dunn as cleanup hitter? Lol.

Will Bill Hall ever make adjustments?
PrinceEatMeat replied to AJAY's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I respect Macha for giving Hall the chance, which he definitely deserved. But, it's been over two months now, and I think the experiment needs to end. Gamel has shown flashes of what he can do already, and I think he deserves at least a platoon with Hall at third. Macha now owes that to Gamel. Especially if he succeeds as the DH this weekend. -
We'll just have to wait to see when The Cat gets the call. It might be right after this series. Otherwise, they'll wait a week or so, and hopefully if Swindle does good they'll keep him over Julio.

I completely agree with that. Billy shouldn't be getting at-bats against righties. It's Macha's fault for playing him. We all know that he won't hit righties, but yet he continues to play against them. He is an asset to this team if he only plays against lefties. -
Yeah, it's definitely sad to see, especially after that 35 HR season. But YES! Justice! Hall is out of the game!
-
He's worthless to us now. Should've thrown him into the trade today.
-
I've got an idea give him the all season mental break against righties.
-
At this point, I'd play McGehee over Hall this weekend against the three righties, assuming Gamel is DHing and not playing third at all.
