  1. The problem is that some call the fire department if they need them or not. This seems to make the police respond faster.
  2. Chuck Hartenstein...OMLB Kevin Kobel..OMLB Tom Matchick...OMLB
  3. Stan Kyles. Seriously, I blame Mark Attanasio. He lowered the payroll, and gave Melvin a budget to work with. Then at the end of March Lohse was signed. I don't believe for one second the Lohse signing was Melvin's. I believe that was Attanasio pulling the strings at the last minute when Mark Rogers/Mike Fiers had trouble. Why not trust your GM? Give Melvin that extra 11 million to build the team from the start. That accounts for something like 12% of the payroll.
  4. I was a little excited until I saw he is a full time hitter now. He showed flashed of being serviceable in the past
  5. Monster day for me today Duffy Dyer...OMLB Jack Lazorko...OMLB Ryan Christenson...OMLB Kevin Koslofski...OMLB Middletons own Brad Woodall...OMLB...To be honest I didn't know he was a Brewer. I just remember him as a Braves prospect. Mike Ignasiak..OMLB...His signature is pretty much spelling. I wonder if his name had been misspelled for years as the ball clearly spells out Ignapsiak. I guess I'll write him to find out. Gene Clines...OMLB Rick Austin...OMLB Jim Walton...OMLB...didn't use my SASE, but sent his own box with a reprint JD McCarthy postcard personalized.
  6. Ken McBride...Brewers coach....OMLB Steve Kiefer...OMLB Rob Ellis...OMLB...he also sent a typed letter signed to me about his time in baseball
  7. Looks like the Bucks signed Teague 4/32. Atlanta can still match.
  8. I drive the Milwaukee streets 8-10 hours a day. Milwaukee drivers bug me. Are turn signals an option on cars? Stop signs are merely suggestions.
  9. I'm sure the arbitrator Fredric Horowitz knows that if the ruling doesn't fall mlb's way he may be fired. Just ask Shyam Das and the late Peter Seitz.
  10. need Timber Rattlers Lucroy, Coulter Huntsville Darnell coles Helena Sheffield
  11. I use my phone at games. You can't get an updated score at the Brewers game. On Saturday, the Dodgers score showed 1st inning when the game was actually in the 5th. Earlier this year i was watching ESPN live cut ins to the Darvish no-hit bid. I'm guessing in a couple of years I will be able to bring an ipad into the game and watch the Brewers telecast so I can see replays. Very few replays bug the h out of me at Miller Park.
  12. He's OK at signings. He's not the chit chatty type but also he's not rude.
  13. Lucroy is a free signing at Robert Haack on Saturday from 10-12 in Glendale. Port Washington Rd and Greentree
  14. I looked at the survey and don't really know what to answer. I'm in a service industry so is that considered hospitality. Also, what is the definition of at work. While on the clock I don't use internet/email but at work on breaks and lunch I do
  15. I had no intention of getting the bobble either, but then my neighbor came over tonight and asked if I wanted his.
  16. Bruce Froemming lives in Theinsville and the Chinooks play in Mequon. Both cities are so small that they share the same zip code. Froemming occasionally dines at the Mequon Pizza Company which is the sponsor. When Froemming came in to dine the owners had asked him if he wouldn't mind/give permission to make a bobble of him for the Chinooks. Obviously, he agreed. By the way the Mequon Pizza Company has some very good pizza and would recommend it.
  17. When I had my kids I sold all of my high end jerseys at that time. I figured it was best to just take the money and put it in their fund. I keep thinking if I should cash in the Bill Hall tracksuit bobble as well. I too look like the 70's oddball type stuff. I know I need some Milton Bradley cards, always looking for team issued press photos, and any others I don't have. I also am on the lookout for Brewers minor league from the 30's to the 50's. My unicorn is trying to find anything related to the Milwaukee Bears. When I was a youngster I would make my Mom and Aunt take me rummage saling around the neighborhoods where Bourchert field was located. Needless to say, I now understand why they were so reluctant to do it. I
  18. For some players it does and other it does not. The information is member entered and most of the members buy the Harvey Meiselman address book. It costs $30ish. Many members don't like to give out that information so the successes might say HM13 meaning the Harvey Meiselman book 2013.
  19. I would guess once your team wins a couple of World Series' in a short amount of time it's easy for your fans to be freaks. Haven't experienced that with the Brewers
  20. At Pick N Save the expiration on the cheese is the worst. Sometimes the bags of cheese look like a balloon ready to pop.
  21. I plan on going down on Saturday. There are not any autograph guests toy killing especially at those prices. I find that Sunday quite a few dealers go he early which I think is absurd considering the cost of the tables. Don't be buying up all the older Brewers stuff
