  1. How often do you call your brother to help around your house with projects? How often does he call you for financial advice? I have a nephew who used to do roofing. I told him to never tell anybody what he does for a living. Every acquaintance would want him to put a roof on their house for a case of beer. If people would ask he would say demolition.
  2. One would think a WWE game would be a day game when WWE was in town for evening matches. They could bring some wrestlers in for meet and greet, throw out the first pitch, root on the racing sausages, whatever. The Brewers just don't have any imagination. Really, how obvious is a Darth Hader Star Wars bobblehead... after he's traded.
  3. Do I get a ring?
  4. I've watched zero Olympics other that searching for the clip on Biles dropping out. I understand the Basketball gold medal game is at 9:30pm tonight. Trying to find a schedule is not really easy...Is the game on NBC at 9:30 tonight or on the Peacock or something else?
  5. Yup. Most teams end up cycling through closers every couple two tree years just because it's pretty rare for relievers to be both healthy & effective for multiple seasons consecutively. Charlie Berens...Is that you?
  6. Westbrook is 33, and Kuzma is a pretty good player. Lets see who is somewhat healthy come playoff time next year.
  7. I'm in Janesville, (about 70 minutes from MKE), and they said Bucks gear was allowable for Tuesday for a "casual" day, and conservatively, 70% of the people at work had Bucks shirts/t-shirts/jerseys on, except for the front office people, who are stuffy losers. For most of the playoffs since we took out the Nets, the Bucks have been pretty heavily talked about by most of the "sports fan" folks I work with. I'm 20 miles north of Milwaukee, and I split season tickets in the late 90's/early 2000's. I don't currently and I don't ever remember owning any Bucks clothing. I don't think I've worn any Packers clothing since 1998 either. 40% of my wardrobe is probably Brewers related though.
  8. Need to start a drinking game for every time Crowder falls down.
  9. Middleton is worth every penny of his 30 million a year contract
  10. I didn’t see any showing of the deer district this game. Must have been on purpose.
  11. …and the NBA wonders why people thinks it’s sport is rigged
  12. https://www.minorleagueball.com/2015/1/7/7511835/seattle-mariners-top-20-prospects-for-2015 Just for the fun of it. Sorry if this was posted already. i wasn't going to read through all 18 pages.
  13. I thought exactly the same thing. The start should go to an original All Star. Not a replacement.
  14. These camera shots are only going to cause more and more people to head down there. It makes me want to go down there and be apart of it…. And I’m probably double most of their ages.
  15. New information comes out every once and a while. The inflatables were first brought to public knowledge a few years ago. Members of that unit were sworn to secrecy for something like 75 years. https://www.quora.com/Why-did-the-Allied-powers-create-inflatable-armies-during-World-War-II
  16. Every time I get excited about an upcoming Marquette basketball season there is always something that's a huge letdown.
  17. Yes, the Germans were convinced Patton would lead the attack, and the Allies purposely put him in a separate place as a diversion... I thought I read where Patton slapped two American troops that he thought were cowards in an infirmary. Eisenhower put him in another area. Hitler was convinced Patton would lead the attack, because of his experience and track record .
  18. The Allied forces did exactly what you have said you would do. 18,000 paratroopers were dropped the night before and the coastline was bombed before and during the invasion.
  19. How much did this cost you, if you don't mind me asking? The top sections of our driveway are cracked all over the place, primarily because we did #1 about 10 years ago and the mud they used eventually settled, coupled with a heavy vehicle parked on it. It is a pain to shovel. We have a paver brick front walk and want it replaced along with the top part of the driveway. I paid $4200 to have the front walk, the top of the driveway, removal of my backyard concrete patio and backyard walkway. It took 2 dump truck loads of removable waste.
  20. I wouldn’t do #1. I would have done #3 but I’m in the process of getting a deck and I didn’t want to spend more money.
  21. I did #2 about a month ago. I had my front walk replaced and the top slab going into my garage replaced. I had my concrete guy cut 2 inches of the garage floor off the concrete block below. They then poured the new concrete onto on that block, so that crack and sink won’t happen again. My driveway has an incline and doing it this way I had my front walk raised about an inch for proper runoff. My drive is 45 years old and there is a color difference. I would think to newer part would dirty up a bit through fall and winter seasons.
  22. I'm a as much of a Badger hater as there is, and I seem to remember that Gard was the guy who the players all liked when he was an assistant to Bo Ryan. He was the guy the players would go to if they had problems.
  23. People that park in front of the fuel pumps that don't purchase fuel. What the... is wrong with people. There are plenty of parking spots available between the yellow lines.
