  1. Dude... what dorm and floor? I was Wellers, 3rd floor. Do we know each other?? I don't think so. Clem
  2. I went to Whitewater starting in 1991. I can remember the tuition with room and meal plan was 2,000 a semester, and books were a couple hundred extra. I took out a Stafford loan.
  3. Unless you are just mad that they changed the logo at all, I don’t see how they can mess this up. Based on what was leaked it seems like they updated their uniforms from 82. Maybe your definition of messing up is different than mine, but I think a case of a mess up is the pistons to take their classic bad boys uniforms and changed it to whatever they was that grant hill wore. I think this is like the name change from miller to American family. Everyone was up in arms when it was announced and now it is rarely talked about. I'm not happy about the change from Miller, but the ah-ha moment came in the last couple of weeks when Miller was dropped from the company name. Its now Molson Coors.
  4. Fundraisers....I'm so tired of them. Its one after another after another. I'd rather just pay for my child to do whatever it costs for them to do. Two years ago we made puppy chow for a basketball fundraiser, and we paid more for the ingredients than they sold them all for.
  5. The Brewers celebrated their 25th in 1994. I don’t think they wanted to celebrate their 40th in 2009 knowing the could capitalize on the 2008 playoffs.
  6. The Brewers celebrated their 25th in 1994. I don’t think they wanted to celebrate their 40th in 2009 knowing the could capitalize on the 2008 playoffs.
  7. I watched part of the first show, and seen it was a popularity contest. I never cared to watch it again.
  8. The Delaware Sportservice employees. The same ones that work the On Deck event and run the Wisconsin State Fair Expo Center events. I understand who the volunteers are that work at Miller Park, and actually for the most part the volunteers do a better job than the Delaware employees.
  9. I might be the only one, but I view this as a huge disappointment. Like the concourse food area, it is run by Delaware North Sportservice. There will most likely be similar lousy employees at this restaurant also. Can anyone tell me that AJ Bombers food is better now with the rebranded concession area that is run by Delaware versus when AJ's was doing it themselves. I get that people didn't like TGIF, but this will probably be worse.
  10. What do you mean? There is going to be a another Wild Card pennant to hang at Miller Park
  11. I don’t like the netting also. Life is full of choices, and if I wanted to sit behind the netting I’d sit behind the home plate area. I have no interest in sitting behind the netting, and will just move up to the Loge then. It’s not like there isn’t an area in the 100 section that didn’t have the protective netting for those that wanted it.
  12. Last Sunday I went to that show for the first time in years. Just not the same without my favorite dealer, Mike Rodell. He passed a few years ago. He had all kinds of team sets for the Brewers and he was my go-to guy. Also had an extensive Braves collection. What I noticed was several dealers with copious 50's and 60's stuff to sell. Didn't see any factory sets or team sets. The only reason I went to some of the shows was because Mike had something for me.
  13. I go almost every month to Gonzaga. The school is currently up for sale, but I believe the show got the OK through June 2020 for now.
  14. I'd rather start Ponce over Lyles and hope they can catch lightning in a bottle.
  15. I'd be curious of your expectations of Derrick Turnbow sine he was picked up off waivers.
  16. I had thought about adding Hisle as well. He was a stud free agent signing that was never the same after a torn up shoulder (I think)
  17. You'll be exempt from the bag issue with the stroller and toddler.
  18. Dan Thomas Joey Meyer Kenny Felder JM Gold
  19. The change in the bag policy is an even trade off for the people that hold up the lines because they can’t get figure out their ball park pass password.
  20. You could have filled them with hydrogen. What could possibly go wrong.
  21. I can only speak from my experience from going to Lakeshore Chinooks games. The quality of the baseball is pretty good. Most of these players are real solid College players. College coaches don't want their pitchers pitching a lot, so they are on strict pitch counts dictated by the college coach. The play deteriorates by the time late July comes around. They have something like 40 games in 42 days, and the players are gassed. Some players leave early because they just want a break from playing baseball. They want to spend a couple weeks at home relaxing before going off to college again. My kids play basketball all year round, so I'm spending way too much time watching youth athletic sports. When I go to a Chinooks game I'm there more for the social aspect. I spend time talking to people I might not have seen in quite a long time. 800-900 is a solid attendance figure without a bobblehead giveaway. The Chinooks have their guaranteed giveaway policy for full/partial season holders that make only 300 or so of the 1000 bobbles given away at the gate.
  22. No, no, no. Even the Dodgers list 6 straight last year. We’re in 1st place, and I’ve been waiting pretty much my whole life for this.
