What a popped balloon. They might win this series but I had bought into the pipe dream we had the staff to get lucky and win it all. Oh well. -
I agree and I wouldn't blame him. They have done a good job but the constraints of playing here have to weigh heavily on a manager. Imagine going from this to really being able to sign top FAs. And he's not even old. I think he'd be crazy not to entertain the idea and he is a smart guy, he knows right now he is a hot item.

Would make sense. His stock will never be higher and 2 of his kids are out of school. He doesn't need to be "home" and is probably salivating at a big market budget. I always think it's funny when guys say they want to spend time with family. Two of the kids are in their 20s and the others are in high school.

Zach Wilson really is an odd case. He looks absolutely terrible one week to the point he shouldn't be in the league, but other weeks you can see he has the ability and athleticism to do all kinds of good stuff.

This just made me realize my last game there was the Wild Card playoffs against the Giants, 2016 season. Can't believe it's been that long. I used to go 1-2x a year.

Actually, there's a lot of players on that defense who would last about 2 seconds on the market, which is why it's so befuddling that they suck.

I actually thought I saw him commit that penalty on the replay and thought we dodged a bullet.

It's moot but I don't know why the Lions bothered wasting a timeout for that.

There is plenty of time left in this game to at least try getting Jones involved but we started playing like it was 30-0 in the first quarter.

Say what you want about Love, he's not spectacular, but this offensive line is atrocious.

We aren't good but that is fine, I didn't really expect us to be. We were bad last year with Rodgers so I don't have high expectations based on how the defense has performed in spite of some talent. But their WRs are either bad or incredibly raw, they are paying a franchise money to a LT whose career is over...there is just a lot going wrong. I felt going in this would take a year or two to hit reset.
