  1. Either the shambled OL or the WRs would be a lot to ask of Love...they have asked him to do both...and without Aaron Jones. It's too much. Maybe he isn't the answer but I don't think many would look good at QB on this team right now. To put it in some perspective Rodgers also came in with a poor OL. But he was throwing to Driver and Jennings who both had 1,000 yard seasons. Nelson was a rookie that season.
  2. He was bad, that is indisputable. And yes Jenkins did play. Misread a headline that had Jones out but used his photo.
  3. Love's been completely set up to fail. I'm not even saying he's good but give him a break guys. -David Bhaktiari is literally useless -Elgton Jenkins isn't playing -Aaron Jones has played 1 game -Christian Watson has essentially played 1 game -His veteran wideout right now is Romeo Doubs If I gave you this list in June, how would you think things are going?
  4. Again though. The best player on the team has essentially played one game. His left tackle is a franchise player making franchise money who has probably played his last game. The top 2 WRs are 2nd year players and I can barely name the guys behind them. The other all pro on the line is not playing. These are not small obstacles. A lot is going poorly for Love.
  5. Love's been uninspiring for a few weeks. This team is just not too good.
  6. I feel like those are all major reasons that we suck.
  7. Joe and Troy are obsessed with Crosby.
  8. Bad throw. Not open by any stretch and if you're going to try that window you can't throw it a yard behind him.
  9. You should get the ball at the goal line on that kind of penalty. Really dumb that you don't.
  10. I was 100% sure we were getting roughing on that.
  11. The Diamondbacks appear well positioned to carry on the tradition of the team that eliminated us going on a deep postseason run. We have never been knocked out by a team that didn't play in the World Series and most of them won it.
  12. I have been very critical of Dillon but the wrap on him has always been that he needs a lot of touches to get going. 30-35 was normal for him at BC. The spelling they usually do with him was never really his thing though at this level you have to figure out what they're giving you. Glad to see him do something though.
  13. Whoa there big guy. Slow down! I'll take 7 yards.
  14. I think Love is ok. Not beating the world, not awful, just ok. There is just not much going his way either. A bad offensive line, the best player on the team has been hurt all year, there isn't a viable backup RB. No veteran receiver to make things easy. MLF...maybe not that great? I'm not sure. I will be a little more concerned if we get to the end of this season and things don't look better on the eye test. I didn't think they'd be too hot this year anyway. No substitute for real game action...I am willing to wait a few months.
  15. That was one of the worst throws I've ever seen. Seriously.
  16. I know we all hate Barry but we have 3 points and Love is 6/9 for 52 yards. At some point we have to throw the ball. You get the sense MLF doesn't really want to. But this is a team you can do it against.
  17. All the buttons suck. We can blame this or that, but this team just doesn't have the talent offensively to win in October. They are a 50-win NBA team without a superstar. You have literally no chance if that's what you are. I don't say this to demean their accomplishments because winning at all is a major accomplishment for Milwaukee. But they aren't going to get over this hump as constructed. Not an attack on them, but I'm not sure how much they care. Winning 90 a year is good business.
  18. I'm sorry but you will never convince me our '18 team was more talented than LAD or the 2021 team was more talented than ATL. Their regular season records mean nothing to me and was exactly my point. When you get to the playoffs you are stacking blue chips against blue chips and we will almost always be on the short end. With that said our 2018 team was extremely good and it was a close series but calling it hindsight is dismissive. At no point did I feel we were better than the Dodgers I certainly didn't think we had a better roster than ATL. This was a fart though. They could have beaten this team.
  19. By the time the playoffs start they are typically playing a much better team. Compiling season wins is a different animal than stacking your blue chips to win a short series that's do or die. Honestly I can think of two times we maybe had a better team. Colorado and arguably this one.
  20. It wasn't the difference but I felt all along Mitchell should have been on the roster.
  21. We have like 7 guys on the Mendoza line. Look at what the top guys earn. We'd be spending $800 million to hit like Atlanta. It's never going to happen. It's a dumb league with a stupid structure. The best case scenario would be the whole thing blowing up and starting over from scratch.
  22. You may as well quit now. They will never be able to pay for offense. Their only hope is the farm and cashing in before they have to pay them.
  23. I have to be honest, years ago I was all for trying out the defensive team that can't hit. But today I can say it is just a lot more fun to watch a team that can hit consistently even if their pitching is mediocre.
