  1. Last night was the second worst outcome. Worst was a blowout the other way. Am I hanging too much on a regular season game? Yes probably. But it's a signature win that glosses over how bad some aspects of this team have been, after a game they won because, let's be honest, Boston was just uncharacteristically awful. I would have preferred seeing them win a competitive game or at least one where Boston had things going. If it's some kind of spark plug I'm all for it. But I can't shake the itch that this team is headed for the same drubbing by Miami or Indiana again. They just seem so soft on the defensive side.
  2. They brought on Stotts to work the offense while Griffin was allegedly a defensive minded coach. Any time I look up the score the Bucks are surrendering 125 points. Sometimes even when they win. You'd have to try to be as bad as they've been.
  3. The Packers have already won the season. Even if they were to win they'd get absolutely manhandled the following week. I'll be happy if they compete, but I do think it's possible for them to play spoiler. It will be fun to see how Love plays. Unfortunately I won't see it live. Coaching wrestling in the morning/afternoon and indoor soccer at 5pm. 🙃
  4. I'm not a knee jerk person. But they need to fire Adrian Griffin. The defense is unbelievably terrible. They don't have the time to throw away seasons. Get him out. This mess really makes me wonder what happened with Stotts.
  5. Several in this thread should be munching on crow for the remainder of the year.
  6. I'd prefer Dallas. We will be dogs either way and losing to a 2 seed Dallas is shameless. Losing to a division rival in a 3rd matchup is worse. They should beat us but it's still worse. Plus the glory of spoiling yet another Cowboys playoff is delicious. It's got the better payoff.
  7. Up and down year but definitely an impressive feat getting this team to the playoffs all things considered. Future looks bright. I'm excited to see how they do in Dallas.
  8. Or just watch the first where it does, lol.
  9. It absolutely hit the ground.
  10. I didn't see possession established there until after he rolled out. But anybody saying the first one was a catch has to rewatch. The nose of the ball bounced right off the turf. That's the only reason it ended up in the Bears WR's chest.
  11. They got that one right. Not a catch.
  12. They really glossed over that challenge with the commercial break but that ball very clearly bounced off the grass.
  13. Incomplete but close enough that a ridiculous call won't surprise me.
  14. If they lose this game by a FG it is 75% on MLF for that sequence. I say 75 because we can't assume he'd make it.
  15. He shouldn't get another chance, he's a kicker. They're not hard enough to find to justify wasting another year. He's evidently not powerful and isn't accurate and wasn't in college.
  16. Replacing Carlson is sadly a top 3 off-season priority.
  17. Carlson leaves a lot to be desired especially in today's league where finding a really good one isn't all that hard. It'd be one think if he had some howitzer leg and was a little erratic but we've seen MLF neglect to kick mid 50 yarders and punt. <57 should be a damn near requirement if you're drafting a kicker or the guy should be super reliable. This guy is neither, maybe he'll get better but missing PATs like he does ain't too encouraging.
  18. On the bright side I don't want to watch this Packers team play a playoff game.
  19. What happened with MLF and that guy? I can't hear the audio.
  20. This show is really something...
  21. I know how it works. But 2nd down is when they're likely still pinned against the run. On 3rd down they're half expecting either. If it's 3rd and 7 just run again and make them use the timeout. But I always take the risk of throwing once to end the game.
  22. Thanks for catching that pass.
  23. I've always hated the 3 runs in that scenario. I like throwing on 2nd down there. But we'll see what happens.
