I can't call it much of a missed opportunity when we are down 11-2.

Miller lost one and it bounced off an ad behind the plate, scoring a run. Two hits before that was a cheap one that dropped in no man's land in right. Brewers might be getting a gift...aaaand Miller just nailed a guy.

If the Cubs can win... We're 1GB heading into Saturday, needing to win two and needing the Cardinals to lose to the Cubs. Exact same scenario as 2018 only needing the Cubs to lose to the Cards.

There's definitely something to be said for being able to have the arms you want for the Wild Card game because you didn't have to do 163. I'm not conceding anything yet though. If the Cubs can win they can win twice, and if it doesn't work out we absolutely can beat the Nats.

We can at least hope for the Cards to lose in 18 innings again.

This is what will anger me even more, if the Cubs give the Crew the help they needed, and the Brewers couldn't capitalize. That's a lot more maddening then if the Crew wins and the Cardinals win. You're getting upset the Brewers didn't win 14 of their last 15. Think about that.

No one said that. Calling it over and done with in a 1-0 game and 3-2 game was annoying, and dumb. That it's now 8-2 doesn't change that.

There are 2.5 games left. The road game at WAS is not locked in. Stop acting like it is.

We'd also need the Cubs to score a run this weekend anyway and it's not looking good.

That is the silver lining though. Rather lose it now than Monday.
