    Given your obsession with resale of tickets you should know that the price will peak tonight because the opponent was made official and the resellers are trying to capitalize on FOMO and trigger happy people who don't like to wait. The crazy-high priced ones won't sell and will drop to near face value as game time approaches. Game 1 might stay highish because it's a Saturday. Both clubs are recently successful with jaded fan bases that aren't that excited for the first real round of the playoffs. You can go to this game for less than $200 if you want to. The purchase power of someone in Chicago is a lame excuse if our stadium gets overrun. The main reason will be that Brewers fans lacked interest. That's on them.

    No you don't? You keep dodging this question. How is one supposed to know who bought the tickets? That is not how the resale sites work. You don't have any control over who buys. Most people don't have bunch of acquaintances lined up trying to buy tickets. What if I have 3 friends interested and they all offer me $25? You really expect people to sell to friends at a loss because why exactly? To keep "true fans" there? 😂 When I tried to sell tickets for the Braves series to coworkers at face, I didn't get a single reply of interest. It's a sporting event brother, not a Klan meeting. It's really not that serious if a few thousand FIBs show up.

    Weak excuse. The games are being gouged like crazy right now and the price will drop a ton by the weekend. And even with that they are the price of a Packers game. If people want to go, they'll be there.

    I think people will be surprised by these games. There is a big risk in selling tickets purchased at presales. I anticipate the Cubs will have a presence, I think it will be less pronounced than a regular season game due to cost and the lack of tickets available for direct purchase once the opponent was known. Sure there will be some resale, but I think these will all be very pro-Brewers crowds.

    It's a baseball game. It's not that serious to lose and it's awesome if you win against your biggest rival. I always wanted it to be the Cubs. Such a greater potential for entertainment than San Diego. Have a little faith in the boys.

    We had the best record in baseball and set our franchise record for wins in the first season without Bob Uecker. We were always going to end up playing, and beating, the Cubs.

    That's all fair but we have had 3 kicks blocked since the finale of last season. They aren't the random event they should be.

    Fortunately for them, what they look like in September really doesn't mean a whole lot. They have thrown two games away, that's not good. Last year's champion looked very bad right now as well. I am very uninspired by this team, but football has always been about who's peaking at the end. It would be nice to go into the playoffs from a seed of strength for once, but we've blown that too, so, whatever.

    It's moot if we block on a PAT. Hell, he can even kick it wide and it's moot. We have 2 wins instead of 4 because we can't block on kicks. That's insane, and all too familiar.

    The most maddening thing about it all is that the path to victory allowed them to play both sides of this. Run the ball. You either keep gashing them, or you get stopped but the clock is running. Dallas had no timeouts. If I'm a Cowboys fan I'm relieved the moment we decide to throw the ball for some reason. We played right into their hands. The last 90 seconds were coached by a coward.

    Yes, but null and void with a TD, which they looked totally primed to score had they just kept ramming Wilson down their throat. Or at least throw the ball forward. I was 90% confident we were going to win that game after Wilson's last rush. They had PLENTY of time to keep running. If you fail, fine, the clock is moving.

    He was a consistent dope throughout this game and prior when it comes to in-game decisions, so he doesn't get any slack. The defense sucks too. I personally don't get the Hafley love affair; they didn't stop any of the playoff teams they played last year. Arguably the playoff game was their best performance though. I think he's fine, don't think he's some guru. I still don't pin the last play on Love. Watch it back. Nobody is hustling to the line. They were moving like they were going to spike the ball, which is what I thought they were doing. I respect he had the cajones to toss it into the end zone and give someone a chance. At least somebody wearing green wanted to win the game. Even that 3rd down play, there was enough time to get that off with anybody moving quickly.

    The coin toss and choice to defer worked to perfection. We were in position to win the game with a TD that we had plenty of time to score and were driving with relative ease. Why he loitered with about 1:40 left, as if he had to worry about Dallas answering with a TD of their own, is beyond comprehension. It legitimately looked like he did not know the rules, which I guess we'll never know if that was the case.

    I'm not so sure. I think some would, but a tie really isn't a loss, as lame as it is, it's statistically half a win, which is something. Depends on game flow and time left.

    The big advantage to me is you are forcing yourself into having 4 plays. If both teams score and there's time for another possession then obviously advantage flips to the other guys, but there's too much that happens before that to really consider that an advantage.

    We lost to the Browns and Dallas just got curb stomped by the Bears. I don't think we can look down on anyone.

    I had that exact same thought. They looked tired and we gave them a nice break.

    They had run it down enough though and Dallas had no timeouts. They were getting like 8 yards a rush at the end. If you get stopped on 3rd down, let it run and kick. It was masterful until about 1:20. Then they were taking about 30 seconds to get a play off.

    They should not have even been throwing the ball. With any hustle whatsoever, they likely just run the victory in after Wilson's second long run. The defensive front was getting pushed around when we decided to start loitering and kick what MLF acted like was a game-winning FG. Insane to watch.

    To be fair, defender made a great read. He was charging to that flat almost immediately.

    When my blood goes below boiling there will be gratitude for that 1 second left, because a loss would have been catastrophically worse and could have huge playoff implications. Then again I'm not sure it matters if we're giving up 40 points.

    Wilson was getting 8 yards a pop and the DL was on ventilators. Go no huddle and run the ball. They had plenty of time. Just chose to waste it.

    The sequence seriously looked like he either thought we were down by 2, or OT2 just carried on from the last play of OT1. Unbelievable. I have never seen something so incompetent.

    I won't blame Love for that 3rd down. He wants to win the game. Everything leading up to it is SQUARELY on the clown we have in the headset. The guy has absolutely zero clue on how to manage a game.
