  1. Yes and no. They block out some parts of sections to allow the general public to get a chance to a game or two, so that people who already had the chance to buy tickets can't just buy them all up.
  2. Silly post. I dropped my SS a couple years ago due to too many commitments and not being able to get there enough, but how exactly do you plan to dictate who buys the tickets? Selling them is actually not that easy to do, especially in the early rounds. The games will get plopped in midday with lukewarm interest. The easiest thing to do is just throw them on any of the resale sites. The last few years, they would sell below face value because the SSH get fleeced on the face value. When I offered them to coworkers at face, nobody bought them. The strip is NOT cheap, especially if you are anywhere other than the terrace level. When I had a pair of club seats, (20pk) I was like $8k deep after I bought the postseason strip + my regular season tickets. The idea that some guy who went to a game or two is going to tell me who to sell them to and how, LOL, please. I'll sell it to Tony La Russa if I want to. All that said, if you re-sell anything you got at a presale, expect to be locked out of the following rounds. They enforce that very strictly, which is more than fair. Selling your strip? That's your own business.
  3. I get it. Baseball is a long and brutal season and winning the division is a major accomplishment. But it is still weird to me sliding around on champagne after losing and dropping 2/3 to St. Louis. They shouldn't let a random loss stop them from celebrating, but it is a little weird. I don't feel great about this team right now but trying to remember this isn't really the team that's going to be playing in a couple weeks. The #1 is all but wrapped, we should be resting guys as much as we can.
  4. The result of that pick was catastrophic but honestly I didn't think it was THAT bad. It wasn't like he forced a ball into coverage. There was definitely a miscommunication where he didn't expect the receiver to continue to break down field. Sloppy, bad, awful playcall, but eh. We still had to have a FG blocked to lose the game. Packers needed a humbling but I am more inclined to just forget this week ever happened than read a ton into it. I do think they exposed the OL and teams will continue to do so.
  5. I'm not so convinced this is the case, they got exposed offensively. The Packers were a playoff team last year that most people believe were good but not great. They played a Lions team that looked awfully flat, like the Packers often have in Week 1 with MLF. Then Washington comes in and again, the Packers are in control but let them hang around way more than they should have been able to. Today they choke let's be honest, that interior OL got its ass handed to it. Parsons was a big blockbuster right before the season began. It got the hype train going way too fast. Not saying the Packers can't win something this year, but what is more likely? The Packers are an unstoppable juggernaut, or they're a good team that added a top 5 pass rusher and are still going to have problems? We had people claiming the NFC was between only 2 teams. I think it's time to pump the brakes and realize it's going to be the same fight it always is. They aren't good enough for it to be that easy.
  6. I turned it off. Something happen?
  7. I mean no it doesn't. Two wins against likely NFC playoff field that you will be jockeying with for seeds, one in your division. As embarrassing as this was, it's the ideal game to blow if you're going to blow one. It was in the bag though. Just a completely pathetic finish. Was there a Packer fan on earth who didn't see that FG getting blocked?
  8. We deserve every bit of this. We can stop the undefeated silliness and enjoy a nice slice of humility this week. Very well deserved.
  9. Missing the FG is a fitting 💩 sandwich that would fit how this game has gone.
  10. I'm sorry but there is no way you can award possession to Cleveland on that.
  11. Yeah but they can't score. They have one touchdown on a 5 yard drive. I'd take my shot at the 2, and give the game to my defense. And they suck, so just go for the jackpot.
  12. You can accept literally any outcome other than that. Get sacked. Throw it to the fans. You simply can't do that. Inexcusable.
  13. I would think the Browns go for 2. This will be a well-deserved loss if it falls that way.
  14. What in the world is he doing on that, just wow. He has wayyyy too much of that in his game still.
  15. McDuffie has whiffed a few times today.
  16. Punting from your 40 down by 10 in the 4th is a questionable choice, but maybe the correct one if you down it at the 2.
  17. Why not just see what Shadeur is? What's the point of Flacco playing for this team?
  18. Leave a back in to block and go short pass offense. This is not working.
  19. Maybe it's just me but Williams doesn't really pop out athletically. He doesn't seem to stand out as really quick in the way someone like Watson does.
  20. I don't want to be "I called it" guy and I was far from the only person who said it, but I thought the Packers would be brought back to reality when someone abused them in the trenches because it is definitely the weak link. It's not a terrible thing; I never thought we'd have 17 weeks of bliss, but we are going to have to get better up front as the season goes along.
  21. Didn't this vaunted defense just give up 41 points?
  22. Beat me to it. We can send Miz home for all I care, but I am taking him over Anderson 10/10 times.
  23. That is probably the nail in the coffin for 100 wins. Meaningless but neat. I am kind of just in a waiting game for playoff baseball now. We're either 1 (likely) or 2 and either is fine.
  24. I'm fine if he gets left off the roster. I think with his talent you give him a shot. Maybe if you're up 2-0 you let him start game 3 and throw 2 innings. Let's just remember Jeff Suppan has an October award. Magic can happen in October and he has the arm to be magical.
