  1. Working through the 7th quarter of the season, this defense has given up one TD on a circus catch in garbage time.
  2. Dominant half but I don't know if I'd call it good. Feels like it should be about 24-3. I am not sure Washington has done anything well. Trying not to read into two games much, and it has been against two better teams so there's that, but you can see some of the softness up the gut on both sides of the ball. Jacobs has not had a lot of room inside. I think the blueprint for beating us will be that. If you fall behind early we'll be very difficult to beat if we can just pin back and wait for you to throw.
  3. That's a chip shot these days. C'mon Anders.
  4. Feels like the first guy is never bringing Kraft down.
  5. That's a catch and it's an incredible one.
  6. Gotta hit some of those Jordan. He is open.
  7. Love is healthy. I don't think he was all of last season after the opening injury against Philadelphia.
  8. I am not a huge fan of our thin corner group or our 1st round pick fielding punts unless they're just going to stand there and fair catch them.
  9. Good thing we kept 6 WR I guess. Reed is going to be out a while. Maybe some chances for Williams.
  10. What in the world is Golden doing there?
  11. I would agree that Philly does feel like a better team. The batting order in particular just not in the same strata. I still think we end up hanging on to #1. And I think it's a lot more important than people think. They'll have a bye. Not having a bye would mean LAD passed them, and they still play Philly. Just not going to happen.
  12. I think the Cubs are getting bounced in the wild card so I am not thinking about losing to them. I want the 1 overall seed. I want to start every series at home. And I want to win the pennant and title in Milwaukee.
  13. You're crazy. I want us at home as often as possible. The players do too. Your own bed, your own facility, your own routines. I couldn't care less who the opponent is if we are trying to win the whole thing.
  14. I get the rule with < 2 outs as you can't assume Johnny Estrada is coming home. With 2 outs, that runner should not be stopped at 3rd.
  15. HUGE hit. Philly is getting a little closer than I would like. Got to hold them off another week or so.
  16. I've said this before and I'll say it again: A GRD should score the runner from first with 2 outs. It really doesn't make sense that it doesn't.
  17. Packers signed Christian Watson to 1 yr extension through 2026. Almost seems weird but I kind of get it. From the sound of things he is definitely going to play this year, and earlier than thought. If he looks good at all he would be as good as gone. This offense could be crazy good if he's a legitimate option.
  18. I'm not a believer in the Commanders. Packers take it somewhat comfortably.
  19. I think the Lions are cooked. Not trying to read too much into Week 1, but your window doesn't stay open that long. You lose both coordinators, and your QB is not what I would call a great, but kind of just a guy that benefitted a lot from a system that's now not the same. Still likely a playoff team, but I think they're in regression mode now. They had a legit title team for 2 years, choked once and got injured the next year. I have my eyes on tonight's game. I have the Bears as a sleeper team, but the Vikings are a very well-run org now and if McCarthy is legit they will be a powerhouse. Their season really hinges on him IMO.
  20. Tough to top that as an opener. Interior run blocking didn't do too much but we have time.
  21. Since the last victory of their season-long 5-game winning streak in July, the Cubs are 22-22.
  22. Ah I remember being 6 up like 2 weeks ago and saying I'd be concerned if the lead shrank to 3 games. Someone said the lead would be 2 by that weekend. Good times. So much constant stressing about the Cubs schedule and they never got within 5 in that timeframe, and continue to drop random games to bottom feeders.
