  1. Inning should be over not for that botched call but Ashby was a mess.
  2. I swear, if that walked runner gets home on that botched call.
  3. I swear, if that walked runner gets home on that botched call.
  4. Good Lord. Robots now. Shouldn't have a job if you miss that. Jesus *****.
  5. Darling really cannot stop fawning over this team. Usually I find the announcer whining from fans annoying, but he's in love with them.
  6. Plenty of people thought it was stupid before the game.
  7. Just start Quintana or Preister. Silliness.
  8. This can't be a serious critique. It's his career.
  9. It's not his choice...he goes where the handlers send him.
  10. Word on X is he punched a 10 year old boy.
  11. Imagine anyone suggesting this with the teams reversed. They would properly be laughed off the board.
  12. I can. Pulled hamstring is not that bad until you exert yourself. You can walk on them without remembering you're hurt. The second you try to run, you'll feel it. Depending on how bad it is, you can swing a bat. He can't run the bases, but that is not as important if he hits a "double" to score somebody, stops at first and you just yank him. Especially if it's his back leg, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he could hit painless.
  13. Exactly, which is why I don't believe that's the plan at all. Sucks about Chourio but I think you still keep him around to DH/PH.
  14. Maybe, but I think if the plan was to use him as suggested, they would not have included him on the roster at all. As polarizing as he is at the moment, I believe he was put on the roster because of the juice in that arm and the potential to be very effective. I fully expect to see him in at least a medium-leverage situation, and a lot of collective rage about it, but it's October, the time to be sheepish is over. Everyone knows that he can do things the other guys can't when he's really going.
  15. It's like $200 to sit in the terrace today. That's gift wrapping it to opposing fans? People pay 2.5x that to watch the Packers. I am not sure you know what a "rich" person is. The bold part can't be serious.
  16. Short hook. But IMO if they win a championship, he's going to have to contribute meaningfully.
  17. Ideal use to me is they jump out to an early lead and he pitches the 5th and 6th with a 3-0 lead or something. Has a good outing, builds some confidence.
  18. Tomorrow morning. Miz made it, not a big surprise. I think you have to roll the dice with raw talent that has shown it can be effective.
  19. This is the concept that Rick and his buddies don't seem to grasp. If you are a SSH you are overpaying a ton for regular season tickets. Especially when the team is losing games. Somebody doing that for 20 years is losing their shirt. And the beauty of that, those same posters will happily use the secondary market to pay UNDER face value - that's totally ok because it benefits them. I personally think if you buy a ticket under face, you should Venmo the seller the amount to make sure he breaks even. Sound stupid, doesn't it? They accept NONE of the risk of being a SSH but expect an equal opportunity to be in the park for playoff games at face value. That's insane. Anyone who believes that can pound sand. Some of these people have forked out 6-figure sums of money to the Brewers including seasons they won 60 games. They can make a couple hundred dollars on a playoff game. It's fine. Everyone will be OK.
  20. 1. Please show me the berating. 2. Silly isn't an insult. In fact I would say repeatedly calling people sell outs is far more insulting. 3. I don't have any tickets.
  21. Yeah I'm good. Facebook marketplace is a hard pass, ever tried to sell anything on there? About 40 "is this available messages?" and then people wanting to pay cash and meet up outside a Walmart 15 minutes away. Stubhub isn't the only way, it is the fastest and safest, and expecting anybody to not use them due to this cause is incredibly silly. And who is to say the person you sold to "at face" isn't just putting them on SH for 2x? I think the more rational option is accepting that this is a sporting event and people from the other team are going to be there. A handful of guys selling to their boss isn't going to change that.
  22. I agree. If you're the Brewers you're always on house money. Nobody expects much.
  23. Nope. The main reason would be Brewers fans deciding they don't really want to go. This state has no problems packing Camp Randall to watch a terrible Badgers team, or the Packers every Sunday for years at higher prices even when they're crappy too. $150-200 isn't keeping Brewers fans away. Stop acting like these games are $5k a seat.
  24. I don't have any tickets. For like the 5th time.
